Introduction

What’s going on Tyranus? I hope you are all enjoying life right now. This month on the House Tyranus Report. We take a look at the activity of Tyrants in the past month. We’ll talk about the war and how various iterations of Tyranus stack up compared to each other. We’ll also take a look at the competitions currently available and the news posts out there vying for your attention before tying everything together at the end.

Tyranus Activity Spotlight

• Silent 3x CF.
• Andrelious: 6x CF.
• Alaris: 20x CF.
• Brimstone: 10x CF.
• Khryso Mallus 44x CE.

Not too much in the way of awards with the pre-war period and most of phase 1 occupying much of the time since the last report. We’ll cover war numbers in the next section. However, Alaris, Khryso Brimstone, and Andrelious all get a shoutout for being Tyranus’ leading lights in the war so far.

War Advice and the Numbers

As you may have heard, there’s a war going on. If you hadn’t heard that, well now you have. Tomorrow is the last day of the first Phase, with a break until the 20th when the second and final phase will begin. With that, it becomes imperative that we complete as many Phase 1 bins and competitions as we can before the site turns over to the 16th. So to help with that, I’ve gone through each of the Phase 1 bins and found the easiest competition to submit an entry for. For the Phase 1 fiction bin, we have the poetry competition. You have to write 100 words minimum description of an object and then a 4 stanza poem being the inscribed incantation. For the gaming bin, it’s the old reliable Flash Game. Last but not least, you have the Graphics and Miscellaneous bin where your best bet is a comp inspired by the opening crawls we all know and love. The latter two are particularly quick to do, the poetry may take longer but all are doable in the time we have remaining.

Now we get into my unofficial self-appointed role of Clan Stats Nerd. As you may have seen in Ronovi’s report, I provided some statistics to evaluate how we are doing as a clan. Now I get to do the same for you lovelies. House Tyranus has 21/63 Phase 1 bins participated in which is 33.33% or 1/3. When it comes to the competitions available within those bins, Tyranus has completed 33/210 or 15.71% of all possible Phase 1 competitions. In an amusing turn of events, our 14/63 Event Long bins equates to 22.22% which is 2/3rds of our Phase 1 number. I’m confident we can at least equal what that number is now, though I’m sure it’ll increase in the next day or so. Event Long comps is 19/210 or 9.05% which is to be expected given the time investment and team requirement for almost half of the Event Long comps, though the Puzzle and 3D object, PvP ladder and Solo fic in the Event Long bins are the easiest offerings on that front.
