Hey Ventress and welcome to my 12th Quaestor report! Well, another vendetta is in the books and the DC released the results just a few hours ago. Plagueis did pretty well with quite a few novae and 4th overall on score so congratulations to everyone on an excellent effort!

News

DB News

We begin the news section with the happenings around the DB. First up is the Regent who released a report calling for applications for a new Magistrate. It is still open for another couple of days too, so if it is something you’re interested in, I suggest you take a look! Anubis also mentioned that the Shroud Syndicate Market is open and will remain so for one week after vendetta results were released, which was today. Check it out if you’re looking for something to spend all those credits on.

Just a quick one from the Justicar’s office. Atra announced a short leave of absence which began on the 2nd of July and ran until the 11th.

There were several pieces of news from the Fists office. Turel released two (1, 2) supplemental reports with some rules clarifications and other ancillary items related to the vendetta. Finally, he released a full report announcing the quarterly GMRG winners, some wiki updates and the opening of applications for a Magistrate and Praetor. These are still open as well for a very short time, so again, if this is something that you’re interested in, check it out!

The Voice is always really busy during vendettas and this one was no different. Idris released two chapters (Chapter 1, Chapter 2) in the Ascension storyline, as well as a breakdown on the different theatres of action and clan research.

Rian released a Herald’s report with changes to meme competitions and some project updates.

Bubba has been one busy DGM over the past couple of months and released several news items mostly related to the vendetta. This one announced that is had begun, this one announced the wrapping up of phase one, this one announced the start date of phase 2, this one was a hurry up to get those last minute entries in and finally, this one just a few hours ago announced the results. One last piece of news from Bubba was this one with some chat policy updates.

The final piece of DB news is also the most recent. Just days ago, CNS Consul Benny announced that he was resigning and today, Evant announced that applications were now open for the position. Whoever gets it will have some pretty big shoes to fill!

House Ventress News

The last couple of weeks have been a time of big change in House Ventress. We welcomed new members, and said goodbye to some as well. Incoming, please welcome TuQ’uan Varick di Plagia and Draugân back to Ventress! And one more new member I would like to highlight is Raiju Kang who just joined us from COU. Please make him feel welcome! These new members came in because of some changes to the Houses Battleteam, Opress. Aleister stepped down as Battleteam Leader after the conclusion of the vendetta and the Clan summit took this opportunity to go in a different direction. Please allow me to officially announce the formation of Battleteam Hidden Blades, with TuQ’uan in command!

In the last couple of days, Slags did a rebalancing of the House rosters as Ventress had grown a little bloated. We said goodbye to Aleister, Tahiri and Livia to House Tyranus. Thanks for your efforts in making Ventress what it is!

And finally, I wanted to highlight the achievements of our Aedile, Nora. Since joining the DB on February 13th this year, she has blazed a trail through the JM ranks and been an excellent addition to the Clan summit. On July 12th, Slags awarded her a Sapphire Blade for her activity since her last promotion, and a day later, I submitted a request for her to be promoted to Equite 1. These were well earned and I hope the start of many more sacramentals to come.

Clan Plagueis News

Slags released a Clan report at the start of the war. For the most part, it was about the GJW that had just begun, but he also announced how the two Plagueis artefacts were going to be awarded. The Mortis Crystal will go to the member with the highest overall score from the vendetta, while the Rakatan Energy Transfer Device is a people’s vote for the most supportive member of the clan. Slags released the voting form for this award yesterday, and it will close tomorrow, so make sure you submit your vote!

Tyranus QUA Khryso also released a quick report just after the vendetta ended highlighting the recent achievements of his House.

Aedile's Corner

Hello Ventress!!

Welcome to the second entry of Aedile Corner. As most of you know, I’m Nora Olen. I have been Aedile to House Ventress for a couple months now and I am so happy to be here!

I’ve been debating what to include in my corner for a while now, so bare with me while I try a few things out for the next couple reports.

First off, I want to give a big shoutout to everyone who participated in the GJW. It is finally finished and placements are starting to roll out. If you didn’t see, Clan Plagueis got 4th over all!! Go Clan Plagueis!! Also another big congratulations to our Council Slags who got 3rd over all!! Way to go Slags!!

Thank you folks for all your hard work, dedication and effort this year.

In other news, the new Thor movie was just released. If you could rate it, what would you give it? 10 lightning strikes being the Best Movie of All Time, and 1 lightning strike being The Worst Movie of All Time. I am curious to know your thoughts.

Final Thoughts

A big thanks to everyone in the House who contributed in the recent vendetta. Overall, I think we did ok. Plagueis was 3rd in number of entries and 4th overall which is respectable. Some members have already received awards, but don’t worry, we were waiting for the results before assessing all our members for awards. Now that results are out, keep an eye out on Discord as those awards are submitted and approved!
