Introduction

Greetings Qel-Dromans, fellow Arconans and various onlookers (otherwise known as Voyeurs) from other Units. Welcome to the Halloween edition of the Qel-Droma House Report. We’ve got a lot for you to sink your teeth into and read up on, so we’ll hop right into it!

There actually is a report fiction this time. Enjoy! (Even if that’s the only part you actually read...)

Fiction

Besadii Entertainment District
Port Ol'val, Dajorra System, Outer Rim Territories
1700 Hours

K'tana swayed and bounced to the deep thrum of the music reverberating throughout the club. Though she was still in her cover alias, this was one of the few places where the Twi’lek could cut loose and relax. The crowd of bodies grinding against one another to the beat of the drums, the pheromones pervading the air. The Gatewarden felt a hand glide across her rear and disappear just as quickly.

For a while, that was all that mattered. She slipped her way out of the crowd, headed directly towards the bar for a drink when K’tana spotted someone from the corner of her eye. The Battleteam Leader’s lekku swung over her shoulder as she turned in place, taking in the figure. Though the beard was longer and the clothing more in a state of disarray, it was definitely the man all of the Clan were told to be on the lookout for. Glancing around, she found a spot where she could sit at the bar and keep an eye on her target at the same time.

The Twi’lek sipped at her drink as soon as it arrived, emerald eyes focused on the dishevelled male as she mentally swore up a storm over the fact that fights were not tolerated in this club.

Even the Security Force on Ol’val had to wait for a suspect to leave the premises before they could apprehend them. Flashing a badge in one of these clubs would only grant them a drink, some information and a warning to keep their weapons holstered.

K’tana split her focus, reaching out through the Force towards her friend. She focused on the feeling she experienced when he allowed her to view his mindscape - a glacial wilderness. The Gatewarden knew the instant her boss was aware of the probing before the connection was forged.

:“Yes?”:

:“Remember that guy you told us to keep a lookout for? I just found him. He’s in a club in the Besadii District. What do you want me to do?”:

:“Bring him to the third safehouse I showed you. Use any means at your disposal, so long as he’s alive. I’ll meet you there - there’s something that needs to be taken care of first.”:

A smirk curved the violet lips of the Twi’lek as the connection abruptly dissolved.

Holding Cell B, Ol'val Security HQ
Central District, Port Ol'val
1933 Hours

The Corellian glared at the wall of his holding cell, gritting his teeth as he pondered the events that had occurred earlier that evening. So what if he had gotten into a fight with some aliens? He hadn't expected Ol'val Security to take their side.

Now? Nashiro was locked up for a 'hate crime' and facing multiple assault charges. The worst part about it? He couldn't use the Force if he planned to escape. Hell, it was bad enough that they couldn't carry their lightsabers on station.

Stupid policies. Why is it that, despite practically controlling this blasted rock, we have to carry out our activities in complete secrecy? It's insulting, the Knight seethed internally.

The sound of approaching footsteps and two distinctly male voices drew Kakos' attention away from his thoughts, glancing through the bars towards the others.

"-I really don't see the connection. Are you certain we're talking about the same person? This guy was arrested for assaulting three, and I quote, 'filthy wormheads who don't know their place'. But murder?"

"Khamen is a known alias of a killer who targets those of non-Human birth. You read the paperwork - I'm extraditing the suspect and bringing him back to Coruscant where he will be tried for his numerous crimes." The male who had been speaking caught Nashiro's eyes those of a pale, crystalline blue. Amazingly, with that glance came a message that easily slipped past the Knight's mental shields.

:"Don't fight me when I escort you out. By the time we reach the Docks, all of the documentation they created, along with your mugshots, will be purged from existence. At that point, I will release you into the custody of Battlemaster Hi'ija.":

Aedile Alley

This has been a bit of a crazy month for your friendly, neighborhood Aedile. Between trying to win the D3 Seasonal competition (I’m in first place), planning Atty’s big birthday bash and work, I’ve been swamped. Nonetheless, I’m proud of you guys, and proud to call myself Qel-Droman. Keep your heads up and the Crescents rolling in, and come December we’re going to massacre the other units in the Great Jedi War!
