A Message from the Quaestor

Hallo my lektastic Qel-Dromans!

Winter is properly in swing at least in my neck of the woods, and I’ve got to say I so much prefer spring winter to autumn winter. More light and somehow cleaner snow. Just better all around! Hope you’re also feeling this resurging power as we head back to the light and warmer months.

This month sees us saying goodbye to Karran as Captain of the Voidbreaker and House leadership scrambling to fill that vacancy. We thank him for his excellent service and wish him all the best, once he returns from getting that pack of space-smokes from the space-bodega.

Meanwhile, it seems ancient powers are stirring on Selen as well, and our meddling Consul and her pet sciencechiss are probably involved in it. Nevermatter, Qel-Droma has experience in cleaning up messes, so let’s go fix this little disturbance in Celeste and then get back to vengeance planning, yes? I mean, a habitable city surrounded by a life preserving shell that keeps it from being devoured by the world beyond, that’s just Port Ol’val undersea!

A Message from the Aedile

Hello fellow Qel-Dromans!

How is everyone doing? Hopefully good!

This month we saw a lot happening. Karran is taking a break from his duties as Captain. I thank you personally Karran for your service!

We also have the pause before the second storm of the SARLACC hits. So take these few days to replenish your writing strength before we go full swing in the arenas again.

Apparently there’s some requests in my table about some pipes that need inspection? That’s right. We have a Clan event if you haven’t noticed.

The month of love starts with some more monster hunting and people saving in Selen. But we’ll all get through this together. Keep up your amazing work poeple!

House Fiction Update

Pain. Anger. Frustration.

These things and more were self-evidently mounting in the Dawn Conclave’s mission command as their forces met with minor setbacks here, cunning reprisals there, and a deluge of pyrrhic victories across the board. They were winning, or so they thought, but it wasn’t a good victory, a clean and efficient one that they were accustomed to, but a messy and costly affair where each enemy pawn they plucked a score of their own would be its price. And even the Dawn Conclave could not afford to pay that cost indefinitely.

This all was cold comfort to Tali Sroka as she reviewed the intercepted comms reports their new decryption service was providing her on a daily basis. The information they received was invaluable and key to carefully picking their way through the chessboard of a shadow war, but though they were making the Conclave pay tenfold for each loss Qel-Droma suffered, she felt each death on her own shoulders. Someone more callous might have called them pawns, but to her they were men and women, agents and operatives, people who trusted their life in her hands; and whom she was knowingly consigning to death.

“This can’t go on,” she stated, voice dry after a long day’s work. “Ve’re not going to vin like this.”

We kick the year off with some great numbers. Alaisy dominates the leaderboard with a whopping 37 points! Followed by Zuza with 13 points. Then comes Tali with 5 points and last but not least, Leaadra with 3 points.

Blind Key

Not wanting to part with it, Alaisy Tir’eivra has hidden away the Blind Key. Truth be told, Alaisy shows exemplar activity and massive participation in club wide competitions as well as dialy interaction in several chats both in and out of the Clan. Alaisy is more than deserving of accessing everyone’s rooms in Ol’Val with her key.
