All hands man your battle stations!
All hands man your battle stations!
Unless you’ve been living under a geological formation, you’re no doubt aware that we’ve got a bit of a Vendetta going on, also known as a Rite of Supremacy (or RoS among friends). This means that all the Clans of the Brotherhood are duking it out to see who’s got the awesomest members who do the most awesomest things, and I think you all know who that is! (Spoilers, it rhymes with, uh, Parcour-a?)
In this special report, we’ll go over what You can do to help us achieve total dominance, win special prizes for yourself, and have an awesome time engaging in the Clan storyline!
Summer is really heating up in Finland, and I for one am happy this event is taking place now, before I melt into a puddle by the A/C. So in case I disappear, just ask someone to get a mop and a bucket and I’ll hopefully be able to pull myself together.
Until then, Arcona Invicta!

Hello fellow Qel-Dromans!
How’s everything going?
The RoS has started and a lot of things are already in motion. Lots of bins to partake in, lots of competitions to choose from, and lots and lots of fun to be had!
Let me remind you that this Vendetta is ultimately to have fun. So, don’t stress yourself over it ok? You are not required to participate in every competition. Just one per bin is enough to help the House and Clan. So, if you’re short on time, don’t stress. We have a lot of time to do the things.
If you have any questions I’m always here to help! Have a nice RoS!
As always, stay safe and awesome!

Member | Points |
---|---|
Zuza Lottson | 53 |
Sven Rawioni | 15 |
Aru Law | 9 |
Tali Sroka | 5 |
Sulith Bekett | 3 |
Woah! Zuza has completely crushed the leaderboard this month! With 53 points she takes the absolute leadership on the table. She is followed by Sven with 15 points and in third, Aru with 9 points. Then we have Tali with 5 points and lastly, Sulith with 3 points.
What a fantastic month of activity, to prove that not even the omens of war will stop this House from producing great numbers! Good job everyone!
Zuza Lottson probably feared that her Blind Key would be taken away from her, so she went the extra mile to make sure it would stay safely within her pockets. Well, it payed off, since Zuza gets to keep the Blind Key for another whole month! Cngratulations Zuza!
Because things are a bit new to even us oldies, we figured we’d make a nice little “how to” guide to help you along! (Do remember to give Ziggy a big ol' thanks for the legwork!)
"Oh golly! There's so much lore behind all this! I'm all confused and don't know what's going on!"
"Don't worry, young Padawan! If you didn't already read this timeline you can get the gist of what's going on just below!"
What you need to know:
The Severian Principate — an imperial warlord remnant that has its own fleet and resources has been divided into two disparate-minded sub-factions: Harmonist and Restorers. Harmonists want to take a fair/just approach to treating pirates and prisoners. Restorers want to “restore” order by using super soldiers and taking a scorched-earth approach to dealing with pirates and prisoners.
The Tenixir Revenants — a pirate gang formed after breaking out from a Severian Principate controlled prison world, divided into two disparate-minded sub-factions: Retributionist and Expansionists. Retributionists want to destroy the Severian Principate, and get revenge against them for enslaving and imprisoning their people (raiders, reavers, pirates, etc). Expansionists just want to carve out their own space in the outer rim where they can live in peace and follow their own rules.
The Story:
At a Casino, located in a Hutt-run city, there is an auction for rare Jedi crystals. At the auction, representatives from all four factions relating to the Revenants and Principate are present. When they realize they are all bidding on the same crystals, chaos breaks out. The Revenants attack the Principates forces with abandon. The Principate calls in reinforcements from their fleet.
The Brotherhood is dispatched to join the conflict without much direction. This means we all picked who we wanted to support and are now on that “team”.
How do I win?
Do as many events as you can. Each event you enter/participate in counts as points towards not just Arcona, but the sub-faction you chose to support. You don’t need to do every event, but by doing at least 1 event in each bin, you can qualify for 100%/as much participation credit as you can.
Note: To get participation credit, you need to pledge to one of the sub-factions.
"But Tali, my time is scarce and these competitons are huge! I cannot possibly manage!"
"Nonsense, padawan! Take a look at the guide below, and you can literally kick almost all the buckets within an hour by following the Lek-approved tags!"
Events:
To see a breakdown of the event itself, and how the competitions work, please reference the Competitions Guide. The following write-ups are meant to help you enter as many competitions as possible in as little time. We will start with the shortest/easiest, and work up to ones that require more time. This will not cover the team events. Please talk to members of your faction to coordinate those.
The “time to complete” is just an estimate of the minimum time needed- you can of course spend as much time as you want.
This is a HTML/Flash game. Click on the link provided by the competition and play the game. Mobile tends to work better than web browsers, because most modern browsers do not like flash. Once you “die”, take a screenshot of your score, and then submit it to the competition as your entry. Here’s an example for an accepted screenshot.
This is timed, but once subscribed, you are given a set of clues/hints and have to provide the dossier name of the respective member. Participation does not require you to find the correct person. Submitting an entry with any DJB dossier names will count as a valid submission. While this can be completed in under a minute, you are welcome to take your time following the clues. There is really no rush or time limit.
To earn participation, join DB General Chat , and when you see the “Collect X Points”, wait until it’s a positive number (1 or more) and then click it. You can politely tell people you’re trying to get your participation credit in, and most people should not be dicks and let you get a point. Once you have received 1 point or more (negative point clicks do not count), you are officially done/receive credit. You can check the stats/leaderboard here: http://button.djb.club/
Note: You must have your Telegram name linked to your Dossier. If you have not already done so, go to Administration > Account and Profile > Edit Dossier > Add Contact Method.
Note #2: It’s okay if your final/current score ends up negative. You only need to have scored a single positive point at some time. As long as you click on the button when it reads a positive number of points, you are good.
Draw or create a picture of Howie (a character on the DC that is known to be associated with Pandas) wearing a new set of duds, which apparently is an archaic name for “attire”. Draw a panda in pants, a shirt, both, or neither. As long as you associate the theme of “Panda” you will qualify for credit. Stick figures count as long as it’s clear to see it relates to the prompt.
You can do this using a free tool like https://sketch.io/sketchpad/ on any computer (no program necessary). You can draw on a napkin with a marker, or a piece of printer paper with a pen/paper. Take a picture with your phone and submit. You can use shapes in Microsoft Paint, or whatever art program you prefer/have access to.
Design a Captain Ship. That means it can’t be a shuttle or a starfighter and should be something big (Corvette, Frigate, Cruiser, Destroyer, Dreadnaught, as the Regent has explained). To do this, you just need to list out bullet points and a short 1-paragraph description of the ship. An ISD (Imperial Star Destroyer) is really just a giant slice of pizza, so don’t overthink this one. You can use the submission text box field on the competition page, or attach/upload a .pdf.
Write an ACC Venue. Example here. Basically write 2-3 paragraphs about a location covering what it looks like (buildings, roads, facilities, etc), where it's located (on the water, on land, underground, etc.), what the climate is like (hot, cold, chilly, dry?), and if there is anything interesting there (mines, vaults, spaceships, etc.). You do not need to include an image, but you can if you find something on Google.
Draw or create a picture of a struggle between members of the Brotherhood, the Tenixir Revenants and the Severian Principate. This could be two stick figures shooting blasters at each other, crossing swords, or playing rock paper scissor shoot with one another. Anything that indicates “conflict” will count towards adhering to the prompt.

Queue up via the FistBot to play any supported game on the DJB that has PvP. You only need 1 game for participation to count. Submit the score via bot after you’re done with it and that’s it.
Heroes of the Storm is free, but Squadrons need to be purchased. If you have the means to, or own either game, you simply need to play the respective mode outlined in the description of the game. You can do this with another member of the DB, or you can do it by yourself. Just make sure you submit the screenshot of your score.
"Gee whiz! This whole Ar-oh-Ess doesn't seem that complicated no more. I think I can do it! Yeah, I know I can! Arcona Invicta!"
"That's the spirit, young padawan! Go make us proud! Arcona Invicta!"
This RoS concept is a new one for me too, but even though we fight for different factions and interests, we are still one Arcona! Do your best, Qel-Dromans, as I know you always do! Kick all the ass! Make all the friends! And leave no bucket un-filled!
Remember, that if you feel stuck, talk to your clanmates. If you need a fiction or other entry reviewed/spellchecked, talk to your clanmates. If you're short a team for some of the Event-long comps, talk to your clanmates. We'll sort everything out, together. Arcona Invicta!
As always, if you have concerns, ideas, feedback, recommendations or a general need to chat, we are always here for you. Whether on TG (@tali_sroka, @AruLaw) and or email.
