A Message from the Quaestor

Hallo, my lektastic Qel-Dromites!

Who’s awesome?! You’re awesome! Holy-moly, you kicked so much butt in the Vendetta we need to get you some stronger boot polish! Arcona slapped so hard in the GJW that it is frankly making Tali’s purple cheeks glow red, but you majestic sausages outdid yourselves once again! Wars are always very stressful and much is expected of you, but you lot carried yourselves with aplomb and showed the rest of the Club why Arcona takes no prisoners—we just stoledopt you instead.

Watching the camaraderie on display was especially heart-warming, as I cannot stress it enough how important it is to remember Wars are won as a Clan. So each edit you helped make in another’s Fiction entry, every enthusiastic comment you gave on their arts, and every entry of your own you managed to get submitted all helped to shape our final score. <3

Now with the Children of Mortis hopefully sent back to lick their crystals, we can finally focus on our own storylines. We’re hoping to tie the two Houses’ fictional activities more in line with the ambitions of the Clan at large, under the guiding principle of One Clan, and I for one can’t wait to see where it’ll take us. I’ve always wanted to explore the sneaky-stabby-shadow agents side of Qel-Droma and after getting our fill of pirates and criminals, we may be finally shifting the focus outside Ol’val. Maybe the poor gal won’t be on fire for a month or two?

A Message from the Aedile

Hello fellow Qel-Dromans!

I am super proud of each and every one of you all who put time into the war this summer. It was a tricky one for me and I could only muster the bare minimum–moving, work hours shifting, animal problems, etc, held all of my attention. Now to swing back into action! Anywho, I am proud to say whatever effort I did put in, most of you guys did double or more! #ArconaInvicta!

As Tali mentioned above, we’ve got a mini event brewing and some exploration to do, so stay tuned. Now onto the goods of this delicious report and to highlight all the hard work you all put in.

House Fiction Update

“Here,” Daros Uvenki grunted, “as promised. And mostly unhurt.”

The last captain of the Mal Company unlocked the shock cuffs off the blindfolded female and pushed her forward, sending her stumbling towards the waiting Paladins. Ranger Kailisa was welcomed with open arms by her compatriots, though few among their number seemed pleased by the outcome of their mission.

Ol’val had turned sour quickly and after the near-catastrophic events they’d witnessed, their leader, Brother-Captain Joskian Aldsin, had come to terms with the leader of the shadowport. Or at least that was the official story. None of them bought it for a second, but they knew better than to press the issue. The cartels had proven far too strong—for now, but Brother-Captain was tenacious to a fault and he would not relent. At least not until he was distracted by something more worthwhile.

Taking the mostly uninjured hostage into their care, the remaining Paladins boarded their craft and departed, the last shuttle remaining to wait for Joskian to board. He still had unfinished business here.

“I vishedt to speak to you in private, Brother-Captain.”

“I assume you meant the Blindman wished to talk to me?” Brother-Captain Joskian Aldsin retorted dryly.

“I speak vith his voice,” the Twi’lek replied. “I recommendt you listen to my vordts.”
