A Message from the Quaestor

Hallo my lektastic Qel-Dromans!

I wish you a Happy Easter! Last month went by in a blur, I must admit. At least on my personal home front, things have kept me occupied, but thankfully the days have become longer and brighter to compensate. It's almost like Spring is soon here…

On the Club front, I'm happy to see many great moves in our House, with ambitious Sith staking their claims in the halls of power and lesser menials awarded for their toil. Next month promises to have loads of competitions with two series of comps ongoing, run in part by our new members! I could not be more proud to see new generations of Arconans begin establishing themselves and I know I will try to participate in as many comps as I can!

It will be a good trial for the upcoming Rite of Supremacy I keep hearing about, probably starting sometime in early summer. Get your training on, but don't burn yourself out, ok? We'll need you at your best when the time comes!

How’s everything going?

Happy Easter to everyone. Enjoy the egg hunt around Ol’Val. Just be warned that some eggs might not be actual eggs…

This month we saw a rise in activity which is very positive. And the Sarlacc results have also been great for the House. Thank you all who participated!

We’ve heard from the GM that the Rite of Supremacy is being prepared as we speak. Therefore we need to get ready for it. There are a lot of competitions available right now for you to practice but do not overdo it.

We want you fresh and ripe for the WHAR!

Having just joined this month, Doon Sulvir is already showing his presence on the leaderboard with 7 points. Then we have Leeadra Halcyon and Sulith Bekett tied with 3 points. And last but not least, the House furry Sven with 2 points!

    • Tali: “Definitely not Blurrg. Not for dinner anyway. It’s more of a luncheon meat.”

    • Aru: “Yes! And I have the controls! How fun is it to make cute ladies shirts wet? Hehehe.”
    • Tali: “Ve didt that last year andt there are some things the vater purification systems are not meant to handle...”
  • Could Qel Droma use a little bit of heavily armed resistance from Galeres to hunt down the last vestiges of the Dawn Conclave?
    • Aru: “If you have any useful intelligence or can spare some equipment we would appreciate it. Alcohol seems to be our most requisitioned item.”
    • Tali: “Resistance? Or Assistance? I feel the distinction is pretty important here...”
  • How’re y’all preparing for the RoS? What’s your training montage?
    • Aru: Climbing up and down stairs!
    • Tali: Lek-ups!
  • Would y’all be down to schedule another Gal vs QD combat training, like we did around this time last year?
    • Aru: Absolutely! Last time Aru didn’t get to fully enjoy it cause he was eliminated quite quickly. He still has a score to settle with Ruka.
    • Tali: “Soundts like a goodt idea, yes. Maybe meet on neutral groundt? How does an undisclosedt private islandt on Selen soundt? I’m sure Atty von’t mindt if ve all tag along...”
  • For Tali, would she prefer Sera take over a bottle of port or a good cask of Corellian ale for their next meet up? Something more exotic, maybe?
    • Tali: “Both are goodt, though the company is the most important. I am more partial for things above 10% ABV.”
  • For Aru, silk rope or fuzzy handcuffs?
    • Aru: “Fuzzy handcuffs!”
  • For both of you, what defines Tali and Aru’s ideas of leadership? What do they think their duty is, to their clan and to those below them?
    • Aru: Hmm. For me the idea of being in a leadership position was always of being able to reach out to all the members in the House and make sure all their needs are met. I have a long way to go still in order to be the leader I aspire to, but I try :). For Aru, he got put in the position by Alaisy. Still, even though he his an incurable drunk, he hopes that one day everyone will come to understand he deeply loves his House and all who are part of it.
    • Tali: “To leave it better than I foundt it.”
  • Take care of Ziggy, or you get the kicky.
    • Aru: Aru won’t mess with Zig. He is too afraid of Alaisy. Sage is too busy dreaming about himself to mess with Zig. Besides, he already has a favorite Zygerrian on his life.
    • Tali: “Vhy vouldt ve mess vith Zig? Ve just gave her a gift last month! A disco-ball vith laser pointers. Ve installedt it in her captain’s quarters.”

In Closing…

I’ve been very happy to see such activity in HQD this month and our new members have really put their best foot forward! I will be looking towards all your progress with great interest! (Hmm, that sounded more ominous than I intended.) Thank you for your participation in the HQD RP and I hope to set us on our course for the next leg of our journey before long!
