Hallo my lektacular Qel-Dromans!
It has been quite the year, but we are reaching its end. With some hopefully relaxing holiday times ahead of us, I’d like to thank you all for your contributions and our amazing adventures this past year! It has been an honor serving you as Quaestor and I hope you all have had as good a time as circumstances have allowed.
As particular highlights, I’d like to point out the amazing War performance you all gave this year, as well as the excellent RP activity we have seen under Karran. I am proud of the renewed Ol’val and Phantom Complex that you have all helped to build, and I’m sure we will see expansions to them both in the future to come!
Taking a step away from the galaxy far far away, it’s been quite a ride through the downs, and, uh, further downs of 2020, but I’m glad we’re all here and still (mostly) sane. I hope your holidays will be warm, pleasant, and safe! However you choose to celebrate them.
Oh, and before we all sign off on the current year, could I trouble you to give some feedback on how we did?
See you all in 2021/39 ABY!
Signed, Your Lekhead
Hello fellow Qel-Dromans!
It’s the last report of what has been a weird year, to say the least, and it’s time for a rewind of sorts.
I’d like to thank you all for being the amazing House community that you all are. Truly! You are a joy to be around. And I couldn’t be more proud of being your Aedile, for you make this job not a job at all, but a gratifying experience.
Real world wise, I hope you are all well, within possible, and let us approach next year with hope for better days, but ever reminded that it isn’t over yet.
DJB wise, next year surely holds many new things for its members to do and experience. New enemies to fight, new friendships to be made. Plenty more ACC matches and competitions to destroy.
I thank you all for being part of the DJB and let us continue forward together.
As always, stay safe and awesome!

Last Weeks of 38 ABY
“Get to the ship!” Freylia shouted to the rest of the strike team and fired off a micro-grenade at the pursuing security detail. The explosive detonating on an overhead beam and showering the burly grunts in hot shrapnel and pieces of girder. The hangar ceiling groaned dangerously, but held, the concussive force of the explosion throwing their pursuers into the ground and buying them a few more precious seconds.
With a wide leer, the Mirialan turned tail and followed the others as they made their escape from the clandestine shipyard, klaxons wailing all around. At the far end of the hangar bay, a bulky freighter hovered in sight, its side ramp open and a familiar one-armed Zabrak waving for the others to get aboard.
“We’ve got to go!” Karran Val’teo urged the retreating Qel-Dromans, reaching out with his one good arm and yanking a cargo container out of their path and into the laps of bewildered guards that tried to cut them off.
Alaisy, Archian, Aru, and Zyg all ran at full pelt across the hangar bay, bearing dents and bruises from their exploits, though most importantly the gently glowing encryption crystals they’d pilfered from the Dawn Conclave’s warship. Blaster bolts whizzing past, Archian flinched as he felt one lucky shot strike his wildly weaving backside, thankfully only striking the riot shield and little else. Swerving around, the Shistavanen knocked an arrow on his bow, drew it and fired, all in one smooth motion, to send a serrated arrow into the chest of the closest pursuer. The body had not hit the floor before the field medic was running once more.
