The VT-49 appeared out of hyperspace and positioned itself well outside of any traffic lanes leading into the moon of Galuslag. The Decimator crew engrossed themselves into various scanners and sensors. Diligently looking for any signs of life, while pressing several sequences of buttons.
“Sir, so far we are not showing any signs of life or activity on the moon’s surface. We are not picking any ships in the vicinity.” the aircraft Commander stated confidently.
Battlemaster DarkHawk sat twirling a homing beacon in his right hand. The small sphere floated about six inches above his hand. The Equite moved his fingers in a smooth fluid fashion, making the beacon dance with his subtle action.
“Do a deep scan of all areas, I want to make sure nothing is waiting for us before we hit the moon’s surface.” replied the Sith.
“Copy that Sir, commencing deep scans now…” replied the Commander.
DarkHawk left the bridge and headed to the storage bay. The Battlemaster came into the storage bay and started making equipment checks on his FC-20 speeder bike. Completely blacked out, Takagari hit a hidden button, one of the compartment doors opened, the Battlemaster verified its equipment content.
A few moments later, the aircraft Commander came across the PA system. “Sir, deep scans complete we have zero life forms on the planet.”
“Only means if they are there, they are in the facility where our scanners can’t reach. Means they will be dug in and harder for me to flesh out…” replied the Battlemaster.
Take us in Commander…..stealthily and off the back side of the facility.”
“Copy that Sir.”
The Commander took the Decimator into the moon’s atmosphere, pushing the throttle gate to almost one hundred percent. The surface came up fast, the Commander leveled off about ten meters above the surface and throttled back to nearly a flight idle. Keeping the Decimator hugging tightly to the terrain, the Commander expertly put the VT-49 down amongst a formation of solidified lava, now a massive snake of rock.
“Keep the ship ready Commander, we may be leaving in haste…”
“Copy Sir” replied the Commander.
DarkHawk walked over to the port side of the ship and activated a switch, the cargo hold door began to lower, the Sith mounted and speeder bike. Before the door was completely open the Sith raced out of the cargo hold and started trekking across the moon’s surface.
The Cenota Facility was just on the rise. DarkHawk had synced his speeder bike’s onboard systems with the homing beacon. It was directing the Sadowan directly to the front door of the facility. As he approached his target, the Battlemaster scanned the area once again for any signs of life. Nothing…
The Sith let off the throttle of the FC-20 bringing it to a halt, a few meters away of the main gate of the facility. The place was in ruins; supply canisters lay ransacked throughout the docking area. The stench of spoiled provisions lingered in the air. If someone was here, they made a very calculated effort to give the illusion that the facility, indeed remained abandoned.
Takagari disembarked his speeder, moving cautiously forward towards the entrance. One hand loosely rested on the hilt of one of his sabers. DarkHawk could not shake the feeling he was not alone. The audible beep of the beacon emitted louder at this point. The Battlemaster approached the control panel and reluctantly hit the button. A small hatch opened above the panel and scanned the Equite. In a deep baritone voice, the automated voice spoke, “Takagari KogaRyu, Clan Naga Sadow of House Shar Dakhan, permission granted.”
“Interesting…” DarkHawk said to himself.
The large doors began to move, and he slid in hugging the walls of the corridor. His grip tightening around the hilt of his saber as he cautiously walked. He made his way to the turbolift, once again the audible beep of the beacon grew stronger. Once inside the turbolift, DarkHawk regulated his breathing, centering himself, strengthening his connection with the Force. There was no anxiety in the Shaevalian only excitement. Embracing his relationship with the Force, he felt the presence of something, someone, the feeling was unclear at the moment. Hitting the button for Level 13, the turbolift raced to its destination.
The doors whisked open, the lab looked much like the exterior of the facility. By the looks of it, the residents left everything behind, and they went in a hurry. Corpses deteriorated within their holding cells and the smell was pungent to say the least.
DarkHawk moved towards a familiar station. This was the last station he worked at before the Collective ransacked the system and drove Clan Naga Sadow from their homes. A rush of anger flowed through the Equite, and he relished the hatred consuming him.
A familiar aroma started teasing his senses, there on the workstation to his left…
Before the Equite could react, the large wraith was picked up and thrown across the room. Crashing into storage racks and finally collapsing hard to the laboratory floor. Almost all the air left the Equite’s lungs from the act. He painstakingly rolled to his left side to attempt to stand but was being held down to the floor. DarkHawk’s vision skewed at best was trying to focus in a small red glow moving towards him. The sound of boots scuffing across the lab floor bellowed in his head. His vision fixated on the red light until it came into focus. A scarred face and an insidious grin finally accompanied the red light.
Trying to maintain what air DarkHawk had left in his lungs, he managed to utter one word expelling that precious air, “Maaaster…”
“What have I told you about calling me that!” In one fluid motion, the figure tossed the massive wraith across the room once again. Sliding across the floor, the Sadowan slammed against the wall. This time DarkHawk exhaled as hit the wall, keeping what air he did have in his lungs.
“Macron its DarkHawk, I followed the beacon you gave me!” the Equite growled.
“Ahhh better, told you more than once not to call me that…..what took you so long?”
DarkHawk felt the restraints that bound him suddenly vanish. As the Equite stood, and seemingly out of the darkness of the lab, his old friend Adept Macron Goura, Son of Sadow appeared. He was almost unrecognizable, it had been some time since they had seen one another.
Macron extended a hand and assisted his clan mate to his feet. “It was the tea wasn’t it?” asked the Elder.
Still replenishing his lungs, DarkHawk nodded, “It was still hot” DarkHawk replied.
Macron turned and walked towards his unattended cup of tea, talking to himself as if he never skipped that part of the conversation with himself before being so rudely interrupted.
DarkHawk followed in a bit of confusion, “My Liege, where the hell have you been, what the hell happened to you?” Macron slurped at his tea, then began to rifle through a stack of blueprints and papers. He continued to talk with himself as if the Equite was not there. Suddenly grabbing several large diagrams and grabbing DarkHawk by the shoulder guiding him towards the table. Two pale white hands flattened the blueprints out and pointed at them. “I have been working…” the Adept said enthusiastically.
DarkHawk’s eyes widened in astonishment and relished at what he saw…
So meant to get this out this past week/weekend but started in on a House project and then started to lay out my this report (I am so horrible at these). But wanted to take a moment to hit all of you up on our goings-on…
As you can see by the above small fiction, Adept Macron Goura, Son of Sadow has returned from the Rogues and been placed in HSD with us. I reached out to Adept Macron to ask permission for the use of something of his, and he pretty much said Hell No, but I will come back and check out what you got going on! LOL! Thank you, Sir, for your experience and expertise!!!!!!
Also, want to welcome our newest members to the Clan that slipped in during the RoS. So I want to give them a HUGE WELCOME to the House!!!!!!

So here is my own PERSONAL evaluation of the RoS and the House. Being that this was my first Vendetta/RoS in my entire career here in DB, I FLIPPING LOVED IT!! Having said that, I have nothing to compare it too, whereas many more distinguished and experienced others have a plethora under their belts to compare it to. I am just going off the sheer fun I had with it. Yeah, some were harder than others, some were more frustrating than others, and two, I suffered significant writer's block for the fiction portion of it. I fault myself for not putting more emphasis into my submissions and making a better placement. So in that aspect, I failed the House. None are excuses, just trying to be transparent. So I will make adjustments in my participation and contributions to the House. The biggest thing I take away from all of it is that my first Vendetta was done side by side with House Shar Dakhan. Plain and simple. I wanted to take a moment to thank the following folks for their incredible talents:
Knight Xuner Holst, awarded 3 Seals of Fury.
Adept Malik Sadow, awarded 7 Seals of Fury.
Warrior Erik Cato, awarded 15 Seals of Fury.
Battlelord Etah Kilij Bloodfyre, awarded 20 Seals of Fury.
Knight Calenhad Mobok'tel, awarded 5 Seals of Fury.
Knight Xuner Holst, awarded 3 Seals of Fury.
Augur Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar, awarded 7 Seals of Fury.
Battlelord Jurdan Krennel, awarded 7 Seals of Fury.
Knight Calenhad Mobok'tel, been awarded 1 Scroll of Indoctrination.

These results are just too flipping cool! This is why I love this House. You guys ROCK! Congratulations to all of you on your accomplishments throughout the RoS!
Now I also have graded myself through the last few months, and I am not happy with the assessment of myself. I am my own worst critic, always have been. So, me, myself and I, are the only things I can control, R/L work, school, family all that takes precedence in our lives. For the most part, we do not control all those factors. I guarantee you will never hear me or anyone else for that matter give recourse as to a real-life situation. Do they come and the most inopportune time, hell yeah. But guess what don't sweat it. There is always someone to pick up the slack, but the House is on me. I feel I let you guys down over the RoS and the last month(s). I could have put more effort into my submissions and garnered you all some more accolades. So I will continue to work on my transgressions and church up my learning curve! It is not beneath me to own my faults, I have made it a habit of recognizing them, and I apologize to you all for it.
You guys, however, WoW, so freaking proud of everyone! The other MAJOR aspect I want to point out, if I have not said it, or if I have, its not enough…THANK YOU, HSD for allowing me to be a part of this. I seriously had a blast throughout the RoS with all of you!

Working on a couple of storylines for us as a House, so far so good. But bare with me as this is my kryptonite. Trying to make sure I come out of the gates strong with this so, still working it. I know Master Sang is working a couple of comps for us as well, and if you guys have ideas or pitches for some plotline/story development hit either myself or Augur Sang Entar up so we can assist working them. Again if I missed anything let me know so I can correct. Until then....

Great report, Darkhawk!
