Voidbreaker

Karran Val’teo sat in his chair on the bridge of the Voidbreaker. His trusted Magnaguard, Challadan, stood with its electrostaff in hand, inactive but ready to turn on at any moment. The Zabrak captain pressed a button on his comlink. A few moments later, a Viper Probe droid floated onto the bridge.

“SH-01, I think it is finally time to initiate your anti-skitter protocols. Challadan, I want you to take SH-01’s place guarding my quarters.”

The Magnaguard stepped forward, then turned to face the Sith and bowed before exiting the bridge to take its new post. The Viper Probe’s ocular receptors began to glow a brighter red before it floated over to a vent that could accommodate its size. Its arms deftly unscrewed the panel and set it aside before it continued in. Within moments, quick blaster shots could be heard in the vents.

“Captain, incoming transmission from Selen,” the communications officer said as he turned to face the Zabrak.

“By all means, answer it.” Karran had a slight smile on his face. He had anticipated this call.

A holographic projection of a Ryn appeared over the projector.

“Val’teo lad, I suppose you know why I’m callin’ ye.”

“Why Kordath. I am certain I have no idea.” The practiced lie slipped out of the Sith’s mouth.

“Well, I’ve just received notice that a few of my...surveillance droids have gone offline. You dinnae know a thing about that?”

“Of course not, Kordath. I would never activate such protocols without Summit clearance first.”

The Ryn gave Karran a suspicious look over the holocommunicator. “Alright then, lad. I’m sure it’s just a glitch in the signal.”

“That must be it.” Karran cut the transmission and leaned back in his chair. A devious smile cracked his face.

News

The Voidbreaker Crew Manifest is an open access Google sheet that allows any member of the Voidbreaker Battleteam to fill in where they would like to work on the ship. We will be using this as a reference for fictions to create a degree of realism. If you happen to have multiple characters, you can fill in multiple lines. Think about your character and where they would most likely be working day to day on the ship. Are they technically inclined? Perhaps they would be useful either in the engine room making sure everything runs smoothly or on the bridge ensuring cyber security. Is your character a medic? We could always use more hands in the medbay. Is your Sith always itching for a fight? Report for boarding duty. Are they an ace pilot? We've got a couple squadrons of fighters that could use you. Whatever your character is good at, we can find a place for them on the ship.

The Voidbreaker Wiki is also being updated. It is actively under construction by Knight Sera Kaern and Master Marick Tyris. They will be using The Voidbreaker Crew Manifest as a reference for much of the crew information.

House Galeres is looking for a new Quaestor. Anyone interested in the position should submit their application before midnight (site time) on the 19th.

”Who broke the mouse droid? It appears to have suffered from a case of ‘kicked in frustration by an angry Sith’”

I assure you. I have not taken out any frustrations on any mouse droids. The only droid that I have damaged was an ID-9 seeker droid. In fact it was the same night we played truth or dare.

Warrior Alaisy Tir’eivra asked:

”Did you recover alright after all those hallucinogens?”

I had a piercing headache the next day and woke up with a broken mouse droid in my bed. It was strange.

Raider Grot asked:

”What sort of polish do you use to polish your horn? It’s very shiny”

It is an old family recipe, but I will let you in on a secret. The special ingredient is powdered Trandoshan scales. wink

Knight Sera Kaern asked:

”Whatever happened to the Twi’lek lady who tried to blow us up? I would like to meet up with her again. Repair...diplomatic relations”

I have requisitioned a report from the DIA to track the wherabouts of this Dia Daesh. So far she has been tracked to somewhere near Ryloth.

"I don't really have a question, more like a suggestion. Have you considered turning our roleplays into actual fictions."

I had not really considered it, but I definitely will think about it moving forward.
