NOTES FROM THE BTL

This is going to be just a quick report to get everyone caught up to speed through the end of June. Another report will be out on July 31st showing where everyone is before the start of the GJW. This will also be the last Devil’s Shroud report as you all found out this morning that there are some big changes taking place in our Battleteam. You can read about the changes here. Everything will remain status quo through the GJW though and then we will see what direction the new and improved Battleteam takes us.

Which brings me to the GJW, we as a clan need to pull together and do as much as we can. Points are divided by the total number of members who participate by the number of active members on our roster. Simply we need as much participation by everyone that we can.
We want to hear, CNS for the WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you need help with something that you don’t know or understand in the competitions of the GJW, ask someone/anyone for help in understanding. Shout out to everyone on Telegram, PM someone if you don’t feel comfortable with that. The only stupid question is the one that doesn’t get asked.

When writing fictions, get it proofed before posting by at least one person if not two. Everyone, when someone asks for a proof, help them. Just to put it out there, I am always free to proof, fictions, run-ons, ect. It may take me a bit to get to them, due to being at work or not having internet access at the moment, but I am getting better at proofing while on my phone, it's a pain in the butt, but doable. I will get to them as soon as possible, it may be the next day and if it’s going to be then I will try to let you know that it may be delayed.

If anyone has any ideas for competitions that they would like to do and that they don’t know how to get something going, hit me up. I’m game to help out however is needed. I would like to see some new and different competitions than what has been offered in the past, but even I get stuck in a rut with graphics, fictions, and run-ons. Of course I’m just putting this out there for the future as everything will be on hold till after the GJW.

I would like for all the Battleteam members to let me know what they think as we go along. I am always open to suggestions and any and all help from everyone involved in Devil’s Shroud will be much appreciated.

If any of our newer members have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me, either privately on Telegram or even through my email. I do check both several times a day and will help you out anyway that I can.

Competition Updates

As you can see, I am stealing a page from Aul and giving highlights of some competitions that are either for our Clan/House/Battleteam or even run by someone in the Clan/House/Battleteam. You can view a complete listing of competitions.

• Our Consul runs a fiction comp, ending in a few days.
• Look for something short and sweet from Eric Cato as he finishes out his requirements for Knighthood
• Also there has been rumors of maybe a couple of light comps from our ProConsul and the Quaestor of HMR, keep an eye out for those.

Final Thoughts

A bit shout out to Macron and DarkHawk for all the hard work they did in putting on the Abomination event. You guys did an awesome job. Congrats to the top three finishers, Bentre, Evelynn, and Sang.

DO THOSE COMPS!!! Seriously though folks we have have a chance to work as a solid unit and take this war. Let’s bring home all the shinies. Don’t for get that there are things awarded during a GJW that you can not get at any other time.
