Here you have it, the very first installment of Battleteam Voidbreaker: The Reports! And I’m your host, Leeadra Halcyon! Joining us today is a very special guest… Wait. I’m being told we don’t have a special guest. Well, kriff me. Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to entertain you all. I make no promises. Without further ado, here we go. Better fasten your seatbelts, folks.
In case you haven’t seen it yet, there is a competition currently running for our very own Run-on! This is my personal attempt to establish a canon for the team and a plan to document our missions and other fun stuff of the sort. Feel free to contribute when you can. CI’s will be awarded for those who participate in the competition. The RO will be active beyond the end date of the competition so keep your eyes open for fun fictional updates every now and then.
For those who have been living under a rock lately (or just don’t read reports) there is a war looming in the near future. The official start date is set for 1 August. Start training up, folks. It’s a good opportunity for us to make an entrance and really establish ourselves. Start hitting the training rooms and work on those gaming, fiction writing, and arting muscles.
The ACC tournament for the war has already begun. If you aren’t participating, dig out your pom poms and encourage your fellow clan members who are! Because, while we are Voidbreakers, we are all filled with rainbows and glitter on the inside. (Thanks Atty.) So go! Cheer on your Arconan brothers and sisters! (Cheerleading uniforms are optional.)
Our lovely P-CONicorn has put out her first report! Find it here and read all of her ramblings!
With the war looming on the horizon, competitions are slowing down, but there are still some good ones out there!
Our very own Edema is currently running a competition where you find yourself captured by your either the resistance or the Inquisition! It runs until the middle of next month so you have plenty of time to put something together and EARN THOSE SHINY THINGS!
This is the part where you guys come in!
Rrogon Skar Agrona
Edema R’uh-Kalinor
Tali Sroka
Denkota Isle
You guys are all awesome! Keep it up!
This month on #asktheblueberry:
Skar asks: What were Lee's real thoughts when she learned that Skar was going to be on her team?
Well, Lee is still fairly new to Arcona, so she didn’t exactly know who Scar was or his backstory at all. Initially, she was just very excited to have another person who was willing to join in. When she did finally get to meet Scar, she was intimidated, though I like to think she was able to mask that fairly well for the most part. She still doesn’t know about Scar’s history and I’m interested to see how she reacts to that conversation.
Julie wants to know: What are your current plans/ideas going forward with the battle team?
Ugh. The hard questions. Can I divert to Skar? No? Alright then. Right now, My main focus is trying to complete this first mission through the RO and give us a solid fictional foundation to build on. From there, I hope to put up a couple small competitions to give you guys a little bit of light, fun activity before we go to war. My biggest concern for the future is this war. I am very new to the BTL thing and still fairly new to the DJB and half the time I feel like I’m just flailing around in the dark (I know I’m not but it feels scary sometimes). I just want to make this a good experience for you guys. So please, give me feedback on things that you like, things that you want to see more of, or things you think need improvement.
On a related note, Atty asks: What's our favorite little blue lady doing these days as a new captain headed into war?
Lots of nervous pacing. There are lots of things in the works with Voidbreaker missions, and now that war is in the imminent future, Lee is very nervous about what that means for her and her team. When she gets anxious about something, she develops a mild case of insomnia and spends the extra hours pacing and trying to prepare for every possible outcome. Having a plan for some of the more extreme possibilities usually sets her mind at ease enough to get enough sleep to function the next day.
The Log wants to know: favorite element of HQD (fictionally) that you've encountered so far?
I would have to say that my favorite fictional element thus far has been the characters themselves. The wide variety I have just within my BT is crazy! Getting to establish Leeadra’s relationships with all these unique individuals has been both wonderful and a challenge. But I love every second of it and I’m so glad I have been given this opportunity. You guys are all great. <3
That’s all I have for you guys this month. I would like to thank you all for being patient with me as I figure things out and feel my way through this. You all have been, and continue to be instrumental in the formation and success of the battleteam and I appreciate every one of you. As always, if there are any questions, concerns, or cries for help, feel free to contact me via email ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) or on Telegram (@LeeadraHalcyon). Until next time. o7

(You're welcome).
Hype, hype, hype! Welcome to your first report of being kickass, VB. Keep it up.
Don't panic. Bring a towel. All will be well o/
WAR! HUH! YEAH! GOOD GOD YOU ALL!
What? It's "y'all"? Nah, man, I saw that Chan movie thingy. It's so "you all".
Voidbreakers look like an awesome little crew. Really hope the RO is taken advantage of. That and the ACC were my primary means of Character Development when I was a young warthog.
Great report! Awesome job, Lee!
A lovely report, blueberry. Remember that you've always got allies in Galeres, as does the rest of Qel Droma.
Great report!
