Some of them were Jedi Knights, valiant defenders of truth and justice, scattered on the sands of Korriban. Some of them were soldiers, doctors, brave men and women all. Some of them were scoundrels, mercenaries, scum, and even Sith, before finding their way to the calling of heroism.
Darkness is rising again, and soon, they will be called to act. Facing down threats in the jungles of Kamuekiko, in the depths of Sith tombs, and on the far fringes of the Galaxy, they come from a legacy of greatness and will forge a lasting legend in their wake. They are the few. They are the bold. They are the tip of the spear.
Here we are again, Knights, in the latter weeks of the month of September. In the weeks since my last report, I put the challenge to you guys to not burn out; to not go dead, or fall away from activity. I contended to the Summit that the Knights of Allusis were not a fling, a fad, or a random accident. That nothing would stop our rise, and nothing would hinder our progress.
I am not disappointed.
The past few weeks have been exciting ones, with the unveiling of the Loyalist and Mercenary Orders as well as the addition of the Gray Path, while the old Orders of Dark and Light have been replaced by Jedi and Sith. Gray Jedi walk among us now also on the paths of Light and Gray, while Dark Jedi walk in the shadows, yet do not follow the teachings of the Sith Order. The Character Sheet administration tools have been updated with the species of Ithorian and Aleena, the latter with some deliberation on the Dark Council's behalf, and we are proud to notice Tekk Parsa as the first Aleena member of the Knights.
We move into a new month, Knights, with the promise of a Clan-wide event. We will take on this challenge, and will go on to dominate every event, throw down any foe that we might face, and take the win home for House Hoth. Together, as Jedi, soldiers, mercenaries, Sith, and even an awkward, knock-kneed teen, we'll stand up against the challenges of the day and confront the true nature of the Force.
So let's get started.
As always, take a look at Our Stories. New ones are upcoming. In more important news...
The Order of the Force Ascendant is a new cadre of Force users on our homeworld of New Tython. Operating as zealots of the Force, living ascetic lives, and meditating on the true nature of the Force's will, they contend that the Odanites are an impure sect and that to truly stand beside them, we must endure the trials of true Jedi. Together, the Knights of Allusis will show them that not all heroes wield lightsabers - and not only saints can serve the will of the Force.
Order of the Force Ascendant begins on the first of October, and will span multiple weeks and events. During its runtime, in addition to competitions, we will see a Run-On competition that breaks our team up into sub-units and has us approach separate objectives. This will be the first canonical time that the fledgling warriors that will become the Knights of Allusis stand together, and will lead into the coming Great Jedi War - and our own first major event shortly thereafter.
Can we stand together? What is our strategy? How are our teams divided? See below for more.
The Knights Reformed
Our first Run-On team will consist of myself, Lambow, Sa Ool, and Gui Sol. Together, the Old Man, the Scarred One, and the Big Guy will lead the Kid on a journey through the calm restraint of the Light Side, the threat of lingering Darkness, and the subtle space between where villains stumble down and heroes fear to tred. We will explore what it is to be a Jedi, as we face the truths of these so-called Ascendants.
The Soldier Side
Comprised of Zoso Quinn, Torin Ardell, and Xan Nes, the Soldier Side will enter the lands of these newcomers and represent the Kotahitanga-Unity Defense Force's finest combatants. Together, the Soldier, the Marksman, and the Doctor will move to support the Jedi they are sworn to serve, but will have to contend with supernatural forces and mysterious threats; one will face the deep abyss the Jedi see each day for the first time, while one will have to face his true destiny - and a man dedicated to mending the ill will contend against the dark hunter within, bred into his very blood.
The Outlaws
Made up of Jalen Ramz, Jason Hunter, Suur, and Tekk Parsa, the Outlaws are comprised of a pirate, a mercenary, a drifter with a past, and a Sith on the run. Arrested for various offences, legitimate or otherwise, and put to task by the Sentinel Network in exchange for limited freedom, they will move through the home of the Force Ascendant with murky purpose and goals too covert for the soldiers of the KUDF - and face up against threats only the expendable are sent to combat. Can they stand together? Can they resist the Dark Side's lure? Can an Aleena really hide a relic that big in his waistcoat? Only time will tell.
These teams will form the crux of our Run-On efforts, and will work in close concert with the prompts they are given to kick ass and take names for Hoth and KoA. Think of it like a game of Dungeons and Dragons - you are given a setting, a prompt, and a set of challenges from the Dungeon Master. From there, you make your own destiny, face new foes, and work to succeed - or fail - at completing your tasks. Write well and help each other, Knights, because these stories will lead over directly into our post-War event - and the bright future thereafter.
An exciting month has come and gone, and once again we've all shown up and done our part. I'm very proud to be your Knight Commander, and I look forward to your successes. Be ready, because our team comes together for the first time on October 1st. We will need to stand together, show our stuff, and prove the greatness of Hoth for all to see in Order of the Force Ascendant.
I wanted to say a few words regarding members, characters, and discrimination. Some in this club feel, from time to time, as if they aren't wanted or needed. They feel like their choices, preferences, or designs are no good to this club - like they need to conform to the rest. They feel shunned, alone, and disliked in our club. Allow me to reassure you.
This is not true.
You are all my Knights. All of you, every single one of you. I would fight for you, stand up against the Star Chamber itself for you, and lay down my DJB career, my rank, promotions, awards, and everything else if that's what it took. Each and every one of you, from our youngest to our oldest, our least active to our most active, our brightest Jedi to our darkest Sith(Ramz), is a Knight of Allusis and a brother in arms. Never let anyone make you feel like a lesser member, and never let anyone tread upon your brothers and sisters, here or elsewhere. We are the Knights, the tip of the spear, and sometimes that spear has to thrust toward a cause. I would gleefully stab it toward the support of the rights and freedoms of every single member in this club - and I know all of you would do the same in a heartbeat. I have your backs, and I'm honored to know that you have mine.
Force Ascendant is coming, Knights. Take breakfast and eat hearty.
We are the First to Defend. We are the Last to Fall. May the Force be with you.
Signed and Sealed,
Liam Torun

Excellent report man. Im excited to see what the Knights do in OFA.
Also I stand with Liam on the subject of feeling wanted or needed, or if you feel that others dont like your character progression. As long as it is the character you want to play, I will go to bat for you and do what I can at your side. You may be Liam's Knights, but your my Housemates. Ive (we've) got your backs!
Nice report!
Get ready for the Force Ascendant, folks.
Excellent report, Liam, I love seeing the effort you put into your team.
I was gonna say something about hiding anything anywhere but it sounds kinda dirty in my head.
Amazing report as always Liam, you make me proud to be from KoA
Amazing report. Glad to see the run-on teams set. But, I have to say it, the Soldiers are going to win this one.
Kewl beans and good work everyone in KoA!
