This just in from a special TNN (Tarthos News Network) Report…

Crime is increasing across Tarthos. Sources indicate that organized criminal groups are rising across the world in Markosian City, New Eden, and Kar Alabrek. According to our analysts, the recent change in governor has emboldened them, since our new governor seems like far less of a leader than the old one.

We reached out to the Governor's office to ask what they would do to keep our cities safe, but they were not available for comment. Still, it seems like they must be doing something, since we have spotted many Warhost personnel and Disciples of Sadow prowling around Markosian City.

Meanwhile, in Kar Alabrek we caught a brief camera feed of some horrifying ravenous beast scaring the Sith out of some lowlife while a creepy helmeted figure asked questions. We could not get any audio feed, but it seems possible this is one of the Disciples of Ragnos, as rumors state one of them has a fondness for such beasts.

So it looks like the Governor may be handling things in Markosian and Kar Alabrek, but what of New Eden? We've seen increased patrols in New Eden, but it remains to be seen whether gangs are brave enough to make an appearance there, as it was reportedly a favored city of the former Governor who still seems to wield considerable influence with the local military units…

Meanwhile, we have reports of a new mining outpost being established at Inos, and many sources indicate the Disciples of Sadow are mobilizing for something big, but no one knows what...

Hey everyone, me again. I hope you liked that little fiction bit. Since I'm not very good at writing fiction, I thought I'd do it in the form of this little news blurb. I actually like this a lot. I don't know about you guys, but writing things from the point of view of a third party seems fun to me. I was like "how would they see Koji? Would they know who he is? Is he just a rumor they use to scare children with to get them to go to bed on time? Etc. I figured there'd at least be some rumors, but maybe in future reports I'll have them learn more, and it would be cool to reference other members like this. He's just the guinea pig.

Great Jedi War

Ah yes, if you haven't heard about this, you probably don't read reports. It starts May 28th and ends July 6th. That means it's a little less than two weeks away. Appius (the Taldryan Consul) is running a bunch of pre-GJW warmup competitions that can be found here. They're not associated with the War, but they exist and you should do them. Also, while I'm on the subject of competitions, Tasha currently has the last of her MS Paint competitions going, which ends in 5 days.

Anyway, there won't be other competitions going on during the 'War, but we will probably still be gaming and possibly RPing as normal. Speaking of…

Discord RP and Gaming

Do you like RP? Do you like Gaming? We do a lot of both of these on Discord. For the RP, we currently have members investigating some leads on disappearances in Markosian City. The Discord RP commands are pretty great, so just let anyone on Summit know (or comment in our general chat) if you're interested in joining and they'll add you to it.

Also, it's my understanding that any RP you set up, you can get Clusters of Ice for writing, as long as it's actually DJB related, and not something entirely different. If you want help with this just let us know.

As for gaming, we play a lot of Heroes of the Storm. We also play Jedi Academy some. If you're not good at either of these it's cool. We love to teach new players. HotS is free, and JA is pretty cheap. In HotS, we typically just fight against bots, and we're pretty good at teaching friends how to play them (if I say so myself). For JA, we often do free for alls, where it's less about your dueling skill and more about your ability to stab others in the back while they're trying to kill someone else. (A valuable skill to have in the DJB…)

Finally, if there's a game you like, let us know. The casual gaming queue means you can play almost anything for DJB credit as long as it has a score screen that clearly shows the outcome of the game.

House Possessions

A while back, our Summit got credits sorted out, and we learned how many credits we had, so we made some purchases…until we were broke. With the help of Hades, we purchased starports, bases, planetary defenses, and a few extra ships. For example, we now have a CC-7700 frigate, which is like a budget interdictor. We also added nine Gozanti transports, which can carry a few fighters or walkers, vehicles, etc. So we encourage members to utilize those in your fictions, especially if you're one of those people with a big vehicle that you aren't sure how to get from point A to point B.

We also purchased a Telgorn Corporation Repair Yard which, in addition to being able to repair most of our warships, also serves as another fictional revenue source for the House.

We need names for the repair yard, nine Gozanti transports, and the frigate, so please send us your ideas and we may choose your name. Usually people don't seem to like the names I come up with on my own, no idea why!

That's it for this report. I'm really having fun with the new RP systems and gaming, and I've also been updating my characters before the war. I'm trying to finish all my NPCs this week so I can actually use them! What are you up to? Comment below.
