I hope that this season has been treating everybody pretty well so far. Now, I am sure some of you have been experiencing some cold temperatures hopefully you haven not been experiencing some of the Tarthosian-like nights (and days) we have been experiencing up in my parts.

It has been a pretty quiet month overall so far from Clan Naga Sadow. Now, it is worth noting that we are just talking since the last report that came from my 2ic, Warlord Darkhawk Sadow. We have seen 25 competition entries, 15 PVE participations, 2 fiction activities, 5001 words of fiction, 14 Clusters of Ice, 52 Clusters of Fire, 108 Clusters of Earth, 1 Pendant of Blood, 3 Clusters of Graphite, 2 courses passed, 2 courses graded and two shiny new degrees gained. So really, given the relatively short space between our Proconsul's report and mine that is really not too shabby. Seeing this bit of activity makes me happy as a Consul, and I hope to see more of it as we move through November, December and into the New Year!

I do want to make particular note of member. I want to point to the earner of those two degrees mentioned above, our very own Quentinshadows who is growing ever closer to that final Journeyman rank and Knighthood. In working through the Shadow Academy Quentinshadows recently earned both his Savant and Sage in History and Lore. Well done!

Actually, while I am making a point of mentioning specific members, I hope that everybody will join me in welcoming Constantine to Clan Naga Sadow as well. He has 12 years in the club, and I hope he will find Naga Sadow to be an enjoyable home for some time to come.

The Last Part of the Year for Naga Sadow

Well, I suppose one thing worth pointing to is the recent Naga Sadow November competition series. This will give us a chance to celebrate a bit of 'back home' time in the Orian system with a series of competitions around the theme of holidays and home. I know not everyone celebrates Turkey Day, but we hoped to give you a bit of fun before we go about bringing a Black Life Day for everybody to enjoy in December.

We will be adding at least another eight competitions to Naga Sadow November by week's end, and hope that everybody will take a chance to dig into the fun. It is lighter on things like graphics and fiction, but we hope that everyone will find a little of something that they like in the container. Or failing that, they will find something that strikes their fancy as we kick in competitions for the second half of the month!

One thing that I am hoping to do on a personal level is to start running some gaming competitions on some evenings for Sadowans to enjoy. I have been digging into some Old Republic, some Battlefront 2 (2017) and even some Pokemon Unite with some folks and I hope that (even if we don't play those games) we can come together for a bit of Clan fun. shakes pom poms

• From the FIST's office our very own Kojiro is currently running a HOTS cluster race

• Also from the same office there is a Bounty-hunting/scavenging themed game to play

• Failing that, the same office ALSO is running an Ewok Hunt for the 2017 Battlefront 2

• The Praetor to the MAA is running a word search competition

• The Voice's office is running two competitions this month: a topic of the month and a Lorefest competition

• For those who have some more traditional gaming tastes, there are also competitions for Tetris and Space Invaders

• Though if you are a greater fan of the pen, you can always tell a bit about how you have overcome and prevailed

Parting Words

There is not a great deal to point to that I haven't yet touched upon in the report above. One thing that is going to be a bit interesting is that Darkhawk and I have been tasked with putting our Dominion, our Orian, our little chunk of a galaxy far, far away into the Possessions system. To that end, you might see some changes about our system in the designations to little things like moons and the like. Some of it will be rather minor changes, while other things would involve nods to other bits of Legends material. The biggest hanging point was in making sure that our system made sense with things like hospitable zones. Wanted to keep everyone up to date so they don't freak out when they start seeing some of the changes. For one, it does mean that our system may potentially come across as MUCH larger than some of us had figured before. The beauty of orbiting a Red Giant Star is that gives us a LOT more room to work with.

In the coming months, we hope to bring some old locations back into focus, pursue adventures both within and without the Orian System, and to push that Naga Sadow destiny of CONQUEST well into 2022 and beyond!

There is a place in the system, much like in our Clan, for all of you to shine. There is a place within our Clan that you can flourish, a role you can fill, or a story that you can tell and that we can share together beyond just the big bullet point story lines. We are hard at work giving you lots to work with, and hope that you all will be along for the ride.

If nothing else, I hope that we can rock the Brotherhood together once again!
