Introduction

Heya all, as most of you wonderful folks know, I am Tasha’Vel Versea, your friendly neighborhood Twi’lek of Naga Sadow. I can usually be found in Telegram, by email, or in a few games. I would like to thank Sang and Bentre for choosing me to be your new Rollmaster and I hope that I can bring a lot of fun and enjoyment to you all. That being said let’s get into some details.

News

First up we got a nice new event coming up that I would certainly love to see you all participate. It seem that the Collective just can’t keep their greedy hands off of us and looks like they need a lesson in manners. What better way to give them some than by showing them we mean business and don’t back down. Let’s give them a what for!

Secondly, we have a new Quaestor and Aedile. Let’s give Etah and Darkhawk a round of congrats for becoming the new Quaestor and Aedile for House Shar Dahkan. Way to go guys!

Upcoming thoughts

Master/Student Program: This was something that I will be looking over and bringing out again to help our new joins and fellow Sadowans.

Recruitment: This is something that has unfortunately been low the past months. I am hoping to bring in more people to the clan and help them reach their goals. As such, if you all need some assistance with running events, need someone to chat or could use some encouragement please feel free to message me. Gaming nights: One of the things I really loved about this clan is when we had our gaming nights. It was a fun event where we hung out a bit in the hangouts, played games, and had a blast. I am hoping that I can bring about gaming nights again and hang out with all of you. So during the weekends and a couple days I will try to host a gaming night. If you would like to help host or have an idea please shoot me an email or pm me via telegram. I will be trying to eventually set up a calendar of sorts that shows what games will be playing for that day.

Here is where you get a shot at asking me questions. I will do my best to try and answer what I can.

Locke asks:

RM is a position that some question the necessity of and to some it has very little in the way of actual duties. What do you plan to do in the position outside it's basic requirements and how will you solidify it's legitimately in CNS?

To me the duty of a Rollmaster is sort of like a morale officer and recruiter. One of their jobs is to help members achieve their goals. I plan to work with each member as best I can to find out some of the things they would like to accomplish in the clan and find ways that they can succeed. Positivity is another thing that I had noticed is something we could all use once in awhile and I know that others are sometimes looking for someone to game with/talk to. So what I would do is host some gaming nights, hangouts, etc. I want to bring back that sense of fun and camaraderie that has faded and bring it back. Plus as new folks come in they need someone to help show them around, teach them the ropes and get into the swing of things. I plan to work with them as well as the veterans. I want to help us all work together to make Naga Sadow one of the best and most enjoyable places to be. Sometimes it takes a determined and willing person to start the ball rolling. I am hoping that being instated as a Rollmaster I can get it rolling and let it continue even after I am no longer a rollmaster. I want to help you all out.

Sang asks: What are you planning in regards to working with the summit and tribune recruitment to help increase the number of new joins to CNS?

One of the ways I would work to increase joins is that while my members and I play games, if we have some new people around us I would talk with them about the DJB and try to gather interest in the clan and how we play. I would encourage our member to seek out their friends and others they play with in other games to talk to them about the club and get them interested in playing. I would lead by example. One of the ways would be talking to others that I know on facebook and around my state with interests in Star Wars. Granted this is not just a quick and easy fix that is done in one day. I will be over the next few months working alongside others in our Clan to encourage, promote, and help them on their journey in the DJB so that in time they will reach out to others that I may not be able to reach and bring them in.

Mactire asks:

How come hotdogs come in packages of 10 and hotdog buns come in packages of just 8?

Because business corporations want you to spend more money on hot dog buns. Also depends I guess where you are located. From what I have seen, hot dog packs coming in eight and hot dog buns also in eight.

Closing

I wanted to thank the Summit for choosing me as the new Rollmaster, and Koji for the time i've had as Marka Ragnos Battleteam leader. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed working with the NightHawks. I hope that as time goes on I will be able to have some more fun game nights and participate alongside you all in various activities.
