“Nwûl tash. Dzwol shâsotkun.” ‘Peace is a lie, there is only passion.’
“Shâsotjontû châtsatul nu tyûk.” ‘Through passion, I gain strength.’
“Tyûkjontû châtsatul nu midwan.” ‘Through strength, I gain power.’
“Midwanjontû châtsatul nu asha.” ‘Through power, I gain victory.’
“Ashajontû kotswinot itsu nuyak.” ‘Through victory, my chains are broken.’
“Wonoksh Qyâsik nun.” ‘The Force shall free me.’
“Four years ago, I learned these words. They became the core of my being. And now they will become the core of yours.” Solas Night-Thorn stood in front of his two apprentices. The togruta nodded, after all she was the one of his apprentices aligned with the dark. The clawdite, on the other hand, defiantely shook his head. Tahiri pinched the bridge of her nose, the pair had been under the tutelage of the Epicanthix for nearly six months. In that time her sibling-student had succeeded in only earning the ire of their master. Both knew what was coming next when they heard the Sith Knight sigh deeply.
“So it’s going to be this way again is it? Very well we shall go over your first lesson again.” The white haired warrior slowly raised his hands before unleashing a torrent of lightning which engulfed the clawdite. As his screams filled the room the communicator on Solas’ desk beeped.
“Tahiri, can you see what that’s about, I’m teaching.”
“Yes Master.” With a nod the togruta walked over to the desk and picked up the receiver on the comm. “Office of the Supreme Commander… Hello Mr. Quee… I understand, I’ll let him know… Yes… Thank you.” As she hung up the comm she turned to her master who was now verbally berating Blackhawk.
“Master, that was Mr. Quee. Everything is ready, the Syndicate has assembled.” The Sith stopped shouting at the clawdite and turned to the young woman.
“Very good. Tahiri, go join the rest of the Syndicate. I’ll be there shortly.” He turned back to the groaning Blackhawk. “You may return to your quarters. We will continue your lesson later.” With a nod both apprentices left the office. Solas then tapped the secured comm on his wrist.
“Will, Wrath, Bane, it’s time. Code Atlas-Zenith-Zero-One-One.” A moment later three voices chimed in.
“Understood.”
“Confirmed.”
“Got it.”
Solas then marched out his office and found the Wrath of Nekros standing over the holotable in the war room. With a nod the bothan fell into step with his leader, the pair then marched down the stairs to find the Will of Nekros sharing a drink with his brother Dox. With a silent nod, the two dashade joined their compatriots and the four headed down the hall. Entering the courtyard they found the final member of the inner circle waiting for them. The Bane of Nekros stood and the foot of the steps that lead up onto the stage. Without a word the bothan, falleen, and the two dashade walked around to the front of the stage as Solas ascended the steps. He raised his hand to silence the chattering crowd.
“I do not waste my teachings on the weak. These were the words of Adas, Sith’ari of Korriban. The charcoal skinned Sith who would lay the groundwork for the mightiest empires in history. This statement is the purest expression of the Sith ways, and now we shall make it the purest expression of the Nekros Syndicate. Six months ago there were countless hundreds of you, now there are only two hundred. And soon there will be even fewer. At this moment you are all Initiates, the lowest rung of our society. Over the next few months you will either step up and take a place in our society, or you will be weeded out with the rest of the weaklings.” In that moment the three members of the inner circle stepped forward.
“Going forward the Syndicate will be organized into three divisions; Necromanic Studies, Underworld Operations, and Special Operations. Necromanic Studies is lead by the Grand Nekrosage; Geosh Romanae the Bane of Nekros. Underworld Operations is under the control of its Kingpin; Frosty Romanae the Will of Nekros. And Special Operations’ commanding officer is the High Elder; Strask Rurra’bek the Wrath of Nekros. All you initiates have a simple task ahead of you. At the end of this assembly you will step forward and approach the leader of the division you wish to serve in. They will then ask which sub-division you are most interested in.
For the Necromanic Studies you have the choice of either aligning with the Crypt Arc or the Fade Arc. The Grand Nekrosage can explain the differences. The Underworld Operations is structured a little differently, the Kingpin will explain more. And finally Special Operations agents can serve in one of three squads; Hunter, Runner, and Guard Squads. Any questions can be directed to the High Elder.
Once you have selected your assignments you will be presented with your initiate’s robes. These robes denote your rank as an initiate as well as bear the color of your chosen unit.”
The assembled members began murmuring. Murmuring which was silenced with a raised hand from the Supreme Commander.
“Now that you all understand that, it’s time to explain what the future holds. Once you have been accepted by the leader of your unit, they will provide you with an assignment dossier. Once you understand your assignment you will deploy alongside of another initiate. Understand this, only one of you will return to the Pyramid, the other will be dead or flee. Those are your only options. That is all. Dismissed!” With that, Solas turned on his heel and departed the stage. As he exited the courtyard he watched as the initiates began to form single file lines leading up to the members of the inner circle.
Alright first things first. If you didn’t read the fiction go back and read it. Do it! Okay read it? Good. Moving on.
So with March to Dathomir wrapped up, congrats to all who placed and great showings all around, it’s time we focus on us. But more on that later.
Now onto the news.
Well first off we had a slight leadership change here in the Syndicate. As you may be aware, the Wrath of Nekros; Strask Rurra'bek has been going through some struggles, and due to this situation he feels that he cannot be an effective leader. As such we have come to an agreement and he will be stepping down as the Sergeant of the Nekros Syndicate. This however does not mean he will be stepping down from his place within the Syndicate. He will remain as a member of my Inner Circle, and remain as the leader of the Special Operations Division of the Syndicate.
To this end, the Bane of Nekros Geosh Romanae has stepped up and been named the new BTS of the Nekros Syndicate. You can see his official greeting here.
So if you did as you were told and read the fiction, you will know that everyone aside from myself, Frosty, Strask, and Geosh, are now initiates of the Syndicate.
Now what does that mean?
It means that aside from your rank within the Brotherhood, you are all now equals within the Syndicate. But not for long. Starting this weekend we will begin a regular competition that will serve as the backbone of your progression within the Syndicate.
Speaking of our internal rank structure.
More information about the competition and the progression structure will be coming soon.
We are now tied for the second largest sub-unit of Tarentum. Woo Hoo! Our current roster appears as follows.

But as always here is a link to the current Competitions List.
I know it’s been awhile since my last report and I apologize for that. School has taken up a lot of my time but the semester is coming to a close soon so your beloved BTL will have more time to devote to the team.
One last note, be on the lookout for another contact confirmation message coming your way soon. Make sure you respond to it when it arrives or there will be consequences.
