Rian is a tough act to follow. He's one of our most talented artists and leaders, but when real life got the best of him we had to cast a wide net and hope for the best. Somehow, the search for his replacement became one of the most difficult DC hiring decisions in the last decade--not because of a lack of options, but because of a surplus. Three former Heralds applied; I do not recall anything comparable ever happening for any DC job in my many (many) years

After quite a bit of pondering and discussion, Atra and I have chosen one of those former Heralds, the man formerly known as Cyris/Bale and currently called Malfa...Malear...the beard guy to be our next Herald. Everyone please congratulate him on his appointment. I will leave it to him to announce his plans.
