Hallo, my lektastic Qel-Drominians!

Welcome to a new year ABY! Mmmh, can you smell that new year scent? Like fresh potential and lingering hangover from the previous one. Delightful!

Hope you all enjoyed the year-end festivities and partook/partake in the ARC-COU celebratory event that’s going on! I had a blast this year, although there were also some fond farewells to old venues. Happily, new ones are being introduced and hopefully we’ll celebrate for many years to come with my extended family.

This coming year, I hope to keep you all entertained with more lektacular antics, but also to steer our narrative ship away from the well-trodden halls of Ol’val and towards new playgrounds, in a galaxy far far away.

At the beginning I would like to say to everyone - Welcome to Ju… Yhm.. Yhm.. Welcome to Next Year! And to even bigger adventures within Our House and the Arcona Clan!

I hope everyone enjoyed the festive season putting party hat back into a drawer ,and I hope that you are ready for what is coming, and even more eager for everything that is happening right now. Yes right now! Please do not close your mind, make the moralizing howl into the moon, and participate in our ARC-COU celebratory event! Also get ready, because ohhh my dog the New Year just began.

House Fiction Update

The air bristled with potential. It was so thick of it she could feel it itching on her teeth. Either that or the air filters were about to give up the ghost, one of the two. Nursing a glass of high end Corellian brandy in her hand, Tali Sroka reflected on the year that had just ended and the one just begun.

Much had been achieved. Ol’val had finally been secured and hopefully at least for a time. Yet new threats had emerged and now with their base of operations safe, they could finally be the asset that Arcona expected them to be. They were the eyes and ears of their Clan, its diplomats and assassins. Hopefully, they would be able to strike at the likes of Chutil’ah before they ever became a real threat. One could always hope.

Flicking off some glitter from the corner of her eye, a stubborn survivor of the de-porging showers she’d gone through after her return from the festivities on Kashyyyk, Tali turned towards the door as a friendly buzzer sounded. Right on time.

“Come on in,” she instructed her Aedile, the dutiful Shistavanen soon entering with a smattering of plans and preparation of an industrial scale.

“Here are the defence plans you requested,” he informed her, spreading out the schematics of various laser turrets and auto-blasters on her desk. “I’m a personal fan of the trained guard Vornskr. I’ve always wanted to say: Release the Vornskrs.”

Tali raised an inquisitive eyebrow but shook her head. “Very goodt. Vith these additions, I am sure Port Ol’val vill be secure. At least for two months or so.”

• A Sithmas ball. Dancing, glitz, glamour, canapés, backstabbing and verbal jousting with your rivals! What’s not to like? Tell us your story!
  
• How well do you know your character? Mind answering some Character Questions?
  
• How does your character live? How do they handle such things like: Feeding themselves or keeping warm at night? Are they perpetual drifters around Dajorra, or do they inhabit grand mansions on Selen? Tell us!.

  • ”How is Ol'vals ventilation system handling all the furred folk on base?”
    
    • Tali: “There is much despair andt gnashing of teeth. Vhich is concerning, considering airconditioning units probably shouldt not have teeth…”
      
    • Archian: "They are officially installed the newest fur filter, now we are waiting for a way to reuse it - maybe knitting? "
  • ”Is Tali **officially* with Strong yet or are they still edging it?”*
    
    • Tali: “Umh… I guess ve are, as the kids say: Going Steady.”
      
    • Archian: " Looks at Quaestor We are not at this level of intimacy, to share this level of secrets between each other."

In Closing…

A brave new year is beginning and I sincerely hope you all will be along for the ride! New stories, new friends, new events and new exciting adventures in a Galaxy Far Far Away! <3
