Kordath Bleu walked along the corridor leading up to the bridge of the Nighthawk, Rulvak at his side. The Ryn was feeling tense, the Consul and her second were due soon to inspect the ship. Every little thing that could go wrong was coursing through the Captain’s mind. Burst pipes, loose wires overlooked, reoccuring nightmares about a refresher unit backing up and spewing three months worth of voided crewmember bowels painting the inside of the ship, drowning the engineering crew and causing the hyperdrive to implode had kept him up for the past week.

”Rulvak...remind me to slap who ever decided the Nighthawk should be a dry vessel.’ growled the Ryn, rubbing at his eyes.

The Sephi arched an eyebrow, glancing down at his diminutive superior, “That would be Lady Cortel, Sir.”

”Bugger.”

Hey everybody, this is...a couple of days late. Blame Uji. And Arcia. And everyone else on Destiny.

First off, congrats to Ernor and Mako for both placing in the recent gaming comps Rulvak ran, not surprising but still. :P

Also, CS 2.0 has been rolled out finally, so you may need to update your sheets, or might want too just to play with the new options!

So to start off, the Antei Contract Bureau (ACB) has kicked off, the next two months you can request contracts to do solo or co-op contracts. This is a nice way to net Clusters of Ice and get some character development in, as well as honing your writing style!

Rulvak is running another gaming comp, Repel the Invasions, focusing on CEs.

I’m running a fiction for just we crewmembers of the Nighthawk, Inspection Day, have fun with it!

Competitions, yo

So since we last….spoke….not a lot has happened, really on my end. Those of you not on Telegram yet, well, you should totally get on. Nighthawk has it’s own little room now where most of us are in now, so...join us, yes?

Greetings Nighthawk. Since we have last spoken, I have seen more activity! I am extremely happy that I have seen more people in competitions and on Telegram. Our little family within the DJB community is growing closer, and I could not be more excited. Now that we are getting everyone closer and more familiar, I believe we can start working together to get some things done for the Nighthawk itself. Stay tuned for more on that!

A competition (Repel the invasions...all of them!) will be starting on Wednesday the 19th, and running until the 31st for Clusters of Earth. This will be for Nighthawk only, whereas the "Arconan Gaming Dominance" is for all of Clan Arcona. When you have a random small screen shot/activity, go ahead and submit to the Nighthawk (if only for participation). I ask you however, please do focus on the Arconan Gaming Dominance competition! Normally I would say eat your heart out on mine, but I slipped up and posted it while the Clan one was going on. Insert most deepest and sincere apologies here.

On that note, there is a chance we could get some gaming competitions focusing more specifically on particular games, or activities within, to help separate competitions while creating some diversity. If you are interested in this, please feel free to bring suggestions to me and I will bring them up!
