You may look at my rhyme in disgust, but I’ll still be recapping August! It was a little slower for some of us, and quite the opposite for others. You’ll even see some role reversal down in the Awards & Recognition section! As always, we'll go over some of our accomplishments within the Nighthawk, and some other things that are headed our way.
We just got a fiction update from our GM, so go ahead and check that out when you’ve got some time to do a bit of light reading (over 4k words!). If you missed it, our consul released some good information in her Superman Report. I specifically liked the information about game nights. Take a look, you might find something you didn’t know was happening! Outside of that, there was an opening to M:FIST recently. Find out more from Cethgus’ report. There’s so much more to point out, but you can find it all on the main page. Things are pretty eventful right now within the DJB, so keep your eyes peeled.
It’s been a comfortable month with no one coming or going. Much love to the ever faithful! Stay tuned next month for a new addition we just received at the beginning of September!

We just ran through August. Most of us either started school back up or had little ones that did. My little one just started school, and I had thought about doing some learning. Had I started the process a little earlier, I would have, but laziness got the better of me. Don’t let this be the same case for you! Always look for ways to better yourself. This club is a very good way to do it. Whether it is learning to work better in a group, or learning to lead a group, there are plenty of roles within the Brotherhood that can help you outside in the real world. While you’re at it, have fun. As I’ve said time and time again, if you don’t see something that you’d be interested in, bring it up! We are here to make it fun for you!
Until next time,
-Warp-
Greetings my lovely Nighthawk team!
Hey, everyone! It's the prodigal son, here. I apologize for not being as vocal these past couple weeks. I recently just moved from Orlando, FL to the small town Yale, IL. Yale is about 35 minutes away from where I actually wanted to be close to when I moved back. It also has less than 100 people - no joke, but I didn't have many options. The internet here is slightly faster than dial-up. I even give the recluses pet names - my favorite so far is Ishkana and Aragog. Then, I've been getting all my other adult things sorted, and I don't mean the drawer in my bedroom closet. SR22 Insurance isn't fun. The new job has been great thus far; I work IT. The hours are long and I don't get the luxury of getting paid for all of them or even benefits because I'm an "Independent contractor", but it's enjoyable and gratifying.
Anyway, I have two really cool ideas for competitions that I'm looking forward to putting into action. It's been advised to me that I take a more simple approach to get things rolling, which I probably should. The time that I've spent figuring out how to balance my ideas into one competition, I probably could have had three easier ones ready for all of you, and that's not fair. So I do apologize and am looking forward to setting a better example this month. That being said, I pretty much live on my phone in between clients or while I'm chillin' at the office during the day. It would be great to hear from you guys on TG! I feel like I talk about myself in these a lot, and realize that I don't balance it out enough learning about you.

Great report, Warp! Very wise words from Shawn, as well. I'm continually amazed and proud of the work the Nighthawk team does on a monthly basis. 8 of 10 active and participating this month is phenomenal! Keep up the hard work #OneHouseOneFamily
Great report yet again! It's awesome to see such a stable BT in Galeres <3
