Nighthawk Report #8
The Captain and Commander welcome you all to the eighth installment of the Nighthawk Report! Included below are mentions of position elevations, new arrivals, competitions and the glorious House Run-on, Operation: Revival! I can’t wait, so let’s get started!
The Aedile’s been shot! Work together with your battleteam and the others to hunt down who committed this atrocity and bring them to justice! Many thanks to Atyiru for hosting this most wonderful run-on competition!
The Antei Combat Center is still a big part of our club and focuses on your combat writing skills. It’s great fun and helps refine your skills for when a GJW or Vendetta crops up. Go challenge someone and have a blast!
The Antei Contract Bureau still seeks more contracts from the membership! The staff is working hard to provide quality prompts for us to complete and it looks like they may have even come up with a new recurring enemy to focus on since we sort of snagged Faust for the current House operation. Use the Contract Request Form to get started!
Yet again, another run-on has shoved our own to the back burner. I am mostly to blame, as I have been focusing on other projects and neglecting our baby. To that, I apologize. I have not forgotten it completely, however! So expect for it to come back in full force soon!
I would like to formally welcome Irakom Slaeghol to the Nigthhawk! Still finding a place for you on the ship, but I look forward to what you can bring to the crew!
Along with a welcome, we also bid farewell to Darkblade. University is a big focus for him, so we wish him the best of luck! The door is always open for when you wish to return, Darkblade!
Looks like the same few people keep getting all the awards! Let’s try and gear up during this next two week period and fill in those blanks, everyone!

This is our House Run-on. We’ve already accumulated a significant number of posts within the past few days and I only see it growing from here! If you haven’t posted yet, please do so! If you can write a post, but are unable to get the discourse to work due to a mobile application and what-not, please shoot an email to Antar or myself and we will post on your behalf so you can receive credit for your work!
I am a gamer as well as a writer, so when the FIST staff does something I think is awesome, I have to let you all know about it. In this light, I wish to cover Destiny. Valhavoc has opened up a competiton to perform a trial run to see how much interest is shown for this simply fantabulous game. If you play Destiny, grab someone else that does as well on your chosen console (PS4 ftw) and start submitting those gaming scores! I am in love with Destiny, so you better believe that I will be participating as much as I possibly can to get this game supported in the DJB. The FIST also covered several other important gaming topics, so you can read the report here!
The following is the same as the previous report. I haven’t heard anything from the crew regarding these projects. Yes, we are focusing on competitions and the Run-on, but we need to look out for Nighthawk as well!
- Nighthawk Wiki - We really need to start hammering this one out. Skar and Nath have started to poke around the two documents I have shared and have offered some insight into the two articles so that we may reduce the two into one. If you have interest in helping us create a highly informative and detailed wiki, please get in contact with me either through email or on IRC.
- Strange and Beautiful RO - Nighthawks personal run-on. We really need to start getting consistent posting on this thread as it will give us a large backstory for the Nighthawk. I have reopened the competition for the run-on which is detailed in the competition and Commander’s section, so once we conclude the RO, you will get some shinies out of it.
- NPC Creation - We need to flesh out the NPC crew of the Nighthawk. Nath and Kalon, when he was with us, began this project and I intend to continue it. Once I get my hands on the document(s) they started, I will share them with the crew so we can continue this project. If you’re interested, you know what to do.
Finally, be on the lookout for another Hawk Tales in the coming weeks. I know we all have a lot on our plates in the near future with FL3 and the House Run-on, but I don’t want to let this series of competitions to collect too much dust, especially with how the previous winning entry left off!
There are a bunch of comps open that aren’t very time consuming and have shinies up for grabs.
Operation: Revival House Run-on - Let’s show them why Nighthawk is the #1 Battle Team. So go post. Now. Do it. Go post. Get it proofed first. Then go post.
Help an RM out - Sight has a comp running. Basically he wants you to make him some graphics for his reports.

KP Sight Nortorshin is on the ball since our last report. He has become the Rollmaster for Arcona. He got a Grand Cross and finished 1st overall in the Operations Figurehead. So I wanted to give him a tip of my hat, but I don’t wear hats so he will have to settle for me saying something in this report. Good job!
I want to take a moment to say a goodbye to Darkblade. He decided to that he needed to focus on Uni. Let’s wish him luck in his future endeavors and hope that he returns to us at some point.
I would also like to welcome PRT Irakom Slaeghol to Nighthawk. Welcome to the team, Irakom. If you need anything, just ask! We are here to help and make this a good experience for you!
