By just about any metric, September has been a very busy month. Personally, RL business has left me with less time for DB participation that I would have liked, but I'm pleased to say that the rest of you, and especially our new BTMs, have picked up the slack. Here are the headlines that affect the House:
After a year and a half of service as Odan-Urr's first Consul, A'lora Kituri has stepped down from the position. However, he's still around in the Clan and as our new Praetor to the Voice. Meanwhile, Turel Sorenn has taken up the role of CON. If you're like to be his right-hand sentient, apply for PCON.
Ka-lel joined us from the Rogues, and he's already made a splash, as you'll see in the participation review below. Likewise, just this week A'lora Kituri has also moved to Daleem.
There was some crazy turnover in the Dark Council. Evant is now the Regent, where he will continue he work on Possessions. In his place, Marick "Hello yes, this is Wally" Arconae took over as Voice, and in his place Atra Ventus is now Combat Master, and in his place A'lora is now P:Voice. Having worked with all four of them in various capacities, I have to say that I think Possessions, fiction, and the ACC all have some very bright days ahead of them. Besides the Evant shuffle, Cethgus has stepped down as Fist and was replaced with #GoodGuyDrac
Those of you who like experimenting with characters should check out the new CS Sandbox.
Turel posted a tease for the upcoming SeNet: Resurgence event. While it's been postponed for the moment, you should expect to see it launching early this month.
In Brotherhood lore, Darth Pravus released Chapter 2: Treason. It doesn't affect COU specifically that much, but the ramifications for our resistance to Pravus and the eventual Great Jedi War are pretty huge. Clan Taldryan may or may not be crashing on our couch for a while. If so, try to resist the urge to rub the panda's belly.
The Herald released new fiction and dossier goodies, and Esca clarified the Herald plagiarism policy.
Finally, COU's been getting some love from elsewhere in the Brotherhood. Wally used the loss of New Tython as fic fodder in the Field Medic spotlight while Blade Ta'var has begun secretly working with Alethia to rescure Jedi sympathizers over in CSP's House Excidium.
I'd like to start dedicating a section of the monthly report to calling out those Satelites who have gone above and beyond what is expected of regular members. We've got several of these individuals this month, so spare me a few minutes while I brag about them.
Mauro Wynter hit the ground running after he joined COU on September 1. Last month he participated in a whopping 22 competitions, covering a broad spectrum of art, writing, puzzles, and more. If we keep attracting members like him, the House will be in very good shape indeed.
Speaking of new members, Ka-lel has been going back to school with a vengeance, passing 16 courses from the Shadow Academy and earning his last promotion before Knighthood.
And let's not forgot our newest member, A'lora Kituri, who is coming off of a year and a half as our first Consul. During that span he not only saw us through various trials and tribulations as a Clan, but he was also awarded for his work on the CS 2.0 system, the Herald staff, the Trophy system, and ACC venues. As the new Praetor to the Voice, I'm sure he'll continue his long tradition of proud service.
Of course, let's not forget some more established Satelites. Junazee has maintained her reputation as a top-tier gamer, earning 383 CFs last month and a place among this quarter's GMRG XI members.
Korroth was appointed as an ACC Judge in September, and has taken to the job with all of the professionalism and dedication that we've all come to expect from members like Wally, Atra, and Turel. Even while undergoing judge training and taking on his first matches, Korroth has maintained an incredible amount of regular activity, spanning all four kinds of Clusters and other competitions to boot.
Mako Henymory asks: are there any plans to utilize one off comps to further build house lore?
As far as one-off comps, the child comps for Legends of Daleem allow the winner to get their entry used as report fic if they so choose. There haven't been many entries to the series, at least in part because I've done a crappy job promoting it, but that does remain an option. I do intend to start doing small comps to develop Daleem and especially the Shan compound a bit more, and while everyone's distracted by SeNet: Resurgence this month I hope to get together with the rest of the House Summit and plot out where Shan is going fictionally.
Sa Ool asks: Any plans for some House only massive event to build our new lore?
Eventually. We're going to have a Clan-wide event in the very near future, and obviously I want people free to get revenge on Hoth for Battle Formations to participate in the run-on and other comps. I do want to do a big Shan event in the late fall/early winter but getting the timing right around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays is going to be tricky.
Len Iode asks: What's your favorite music to listen to during interrogations?
Short answer: Party in the ISB. Longer answer: I made a playlist for Alethia for a comp Wally ran back in January or so, and I've been expanding it slowly ever since, in no particular order.

Great Report Arch!
Thank you for bringing us up to date, this was enjoyable to read.
Never feed the Panda.... Never ever
Great report! It's nice to see COU featuring in external fiction.
