Clan Odan-Urr presses forward, even in the absence of both a Consul and Proconsul. Rest assured that after a moment of exams and relocation, our Summit is now back to running at peak capacity. It surprised me to see that, despite the brief absence of most of our Clan-level leadership, our House-level leadership managed to keep things operating as smoothly as possible. Our communication hasn’t dropped, and our numbers continue to grow. All that remains is to boost our participation - we’re one of the largest, baddest (goodest?) Clans the Brotherhood has seen. Want to make a lasting impact? Show the Brotherhood that we have the talent to do so.
Related to the House Satele Shan news mentioned later in this report, we placed a call out for a devoted Battle Team Leader for the Disciples of Baas. In sending an application to the entire Clan Summit, it is expected that you’re able to lead from the front of House Satele Shan’s most elite members. Keeping these members engaged and ready is one task. Since attaining Clan status, we’ve expanded upon these positions to allow for more involvement with our members. We encourage our Battle Team Leaders to advertise their Battle Team, giving members the chance to become part of something greater. Those who excel will be added to the Battle Team’s roster, as paragons of commitment to seeing Odan-Urr succeed in driving back the darkness. This isn’t a stepping stone to greater potential, but an integral part to the Odan-Urr machine.
With that being said, we had two applications that stood out to us. This was one of the most difficult decisions I have had to make in this term as Consul, as both are among the most active and dedicated members that I know. Ultimately, it was unanimously agreed upon that we would be utilizing the position of Battle Team Sergeant to take full advantage of the promises made in both applications. The duties for this position works much in the same manner as an Aedile position would for a House. Our Battle Team Sergeants will be tasked with aiding the Battle Teams to further development. Essentially, we want to see these grow to become something of a House within a House. Thus, we have formed a structure to mirror that approach.
The Disciples of Bass has been our latest Battle Team for a while. However, it now has the opportunity to expand its numbers and impact to House Satele Shan. Together, it is expected that our Battle Team Leader and Battle Team Sergeant will take this unit and rebuild from the ground-up, taking on a less restrictive, but far more interesting approach than it held previously. This will be a daunting task, and one that has been repeated throughout our history with our past Battle Teams. In adding a second-in-command with official power in the Battle Team, we aim to not repeat the past mistakes that resulted in the closing of the Lightwalkers. Without further comment, allow me to introduce our new leaders of this prestigious Battle Team.
Seridan Brehevik, Battle Team Leader of the Disciples of Baas.
Lu’aisha Gresee, Battle Team Sergeant of the Disciples of Baas.
Fireteam Echo, one of Clan Odan-Urr’s most valuable assets and their prime special operations group was originally created by the O’reenian military. This became apparent when a team of O’reenian commandos assaulted Facility Iota, Echo team’s home base, and did away with Echo-1 “Kintan Strider”, their leader.
With help from a Sith-turned-Jedi and newly accepted member of the Clan, Shiran Kastav, Echo-1 returned home to New Tython after a daring escape plan succeeded beyond all hope. All seemed well but the Sentinel Network caught ear of O’reenian movements in the region. Unconfirmed claims and rumors abound.
Now as the NSD Last Stand and the VSD Endor’s Triumph travel on a risky endeavour to assist an allied planet, the risk of an attack on the planet remains. One cryptic message holds the key to New Tython’s survival. One sent by an agent deep in the Unknown Regions. Our last line of defense - Sanctuary station - holds the key to our survival as the O’reenians approach once more to reclaim their “property”.

This marks the beginning of our second Clan-wide series, the Sentinel Network. Our Proconsul, V’yr Vorsa was instrumental in creating this from the ground up, with a little valuable help from Gresee who managed to create one of the related articles for the events. Following in the same format as Tales of New Tython, this event will have five competitions lasting for two weeks. As seen in the fiction and statistics for the conclusion of Tales, each submission counts towards giving our Clan a better score, and some recognition to go with it. Throw in as much participation as you can muster, and have fun!
[Odan-Urr] Sentinel Network: Sanctuary
Ji has been an inspiration to me for as long as he’s been around (which is, forever). He was one of the ones who mentored me through the Journeymen ranks when I joined the Brotherhood, within hours of House Odan-Urr’s creation. Without him, and others like Jendan and JScumm, I likely wouldn’t have stuck around long enough to see Clan Odan-Urr rise. He’s served as an advisor, and more recently, Quaestor of House Satele Shan - his second Quaestor position of a brand-new House. With that being said, it was agreed upon that with his limited time available, he would focus his efforts towards a more focused scale.
It was no surprise to see Solari rise to serve in his stead as Quaestor. I’ve seen his work as Headmaster, and alongside Ji in at least two positions as his Aedile. Following in the same vision for House Satele Shan that Ji introduced, I expect that we’ll see some groundbreaking development in no time. We have appointed Mar Sûl to serve as his Aedile, shifting both of these leaders up the ranks. Mar’s work with our fictional development created some interesting ideas, which will be put forward to our first major event of this new chapter. He’s worked behind-the-scenes to help deliver the planning of a new development I know we’ll all love. Until then, we’re keeping it behind locked doors, so keep interested!
From the Quaestor
Good Day Odanites,
We have just wrapped up Episode 1 of the Butcher of Kamuekiko, Legends event. Our overall winner was PAD Torin Ardell. I have got to say that I am excited to see a new member take up the lead like this. Episode 2 will roll out in a few weeks, with Torin leading our forces in defense of the colonies in the area. If you’re in Hoth and you want your name to be forever memorialized as a Legend of House Hoth, you should look more into these events. Your participation and actions can, and will determine the course of action against this Butcher!
I can’t give a start date on Episode 2 yet as we have our upcoming Clan-wide Event, Sentinel Network . Also we have been receiving communications about something rather large looming on the horizon...
That concludes the third Consul Report for Clan Odan-Urr. Focus on the Sentinel Network, lasting over the next two weeks to give our Summit something to do when the time for grading draws near. We’re eager to see what kind of creative ideas you can come up with, and looking forward to seeing our Clan rebuild that same fun atmosphere we’re so famous for having!
