Welcome to the second House Odan-Urr Aedile Report of 2014! While we're still beginning this new year, the Dark Council has already been working hard on planning out the next major Brotherhood-wide event. Signups have already been announced. Other topics I'll cover this month include the state of our expanded fleet, statistics, and highlights of various reports brought to us by one really badass Dark Council.
URGENT: Bosthirda RunOn Signups!
We will soon be approaching the arrival of the next Brotherhood-wide even, continuing the Crusades. Before any of you groan at the mention of the name, this event will be held differently than the previous "Chapters" and "Phases." Instead, we're expecting a Run-On that will still award Fleet Points to expand our Armed Forces. Nathan Deciarus has already started up the email chain for our signups. I highly encourage every capable writer to participate; any chance we have at a qualifying entry increases our chances at placement, as well as additions to our fleet. Currently, The event will run from 28 February until 2359 EST on 16 March. A five-member commitment to at least three posts each is expected by the Dark Council. Even if you are unsure of your available time, I still encourage you to signup on the email chain. Teams will be decided before the signup end date. If you don't have an account on the Forums, be sure to register ahead of time and deactivate your signatures.
The following rules have been announced for placement:
1) A single member failing to post three times will result in their teams DQ and elimination from the top 3.
2) A post under 250 words will not be considered in a participants 3 post total. If a player writes five entries, 3 over 250 words and 2 under, they will still be given credit for reaching the minimum post limit.

These members represent the lifeblood of House Odan-Urr. Without a constant increase in new members, we wouldn't have the opportunity to welcome such talented individuals. Since the past month, our numbers had barely seen a decrease as a result of the AWOL check, thanks to the interest these members have shown. As such, I would like to formally recognize them as Jedi of House Odan-Urr!
House Events
Currently, we have just concluded the previous month's Knights of Allusis and Ooroo Battleteam events. However, we'll soon have a fresh wave of competitions to keep all of you entertained until the next wave of major events. Also be sure to keep an eye out for Liam Torun's future Reports, as he will cover the introduction of the next House-wide event. This has been long in the making, and will showcase the return to New Tython. Currently, we do have a series geared towards our Journeymen, so check it out!
Herald's Office Issues a Call for Artists!
Are you experienced in traditional, or media-based graphics? Working towards building up projects for a future promotion? Look no further!
Socorra, Praetor to the Herald has just issued a call for artists to work towards projects for the Herald's office. This is one of the best opportunities for graphic artists to show off their skills and help the Brotherhood as a whole. No details of projects have been released yet, but rest assured that your skills will be put to use where they fit in most, whether you are good at constructing lightsabers, illustrating characters, or creating a high-quality animation for use on the site or recruitment pages.
To sign up, you must send an email to Socorra with examples of your previous work, to show your interest and ensure that you are given a project which compliments your skillset.
Fleet Expansion
Over the long event that was the Dark Crusade, we have accumulated a wealth of points towards the building of a fleet that was before seen as impossible. With this new wealth, we have purchased a few additions to create a small fleet, built around the essential framework needed to establish ourselves as a formidable force. With that said, we have acquired the Nebula-Class Star Destroyer, Fey'lya's Last Stand, as our flagship. Captained by former High Councillor Ji, this mighty starship will be the centerpiece of our fleet, alongside the two Assassin-Class Corvettes we have acquired as support vessels. One of which has been named the Pride of Owyhyee after New Tython's continent, upon which the city of Menat Ombo is built.
I would like to thank both Ji and V'yr Vorsa for their massive contributions towards this. It was with their guidance and dedication that we were able to formulate a plan of action to make the most of our available resources. In addition to this, we have also made a few small improvements to our ground forces, including a second AT-AT.
Antei Combat Center
A month ago, the Antei Combat Center had entered an Open Beta, available to all qualifying members to participate in. Since then, the team dedicated to building up its foundations have worked tirelessly to develop the best possible experience. While it is still in Open Beta, you can still receive the same awards for participating in it. Since the introduction of the two qualifying exams in the Shadow Academy, we have had six members pass both exams, and are now able to compete in legendary battles against the Dark SIde. If this isn't your interest, the new Story Hall is developed in a format nearly identical to Run-Ons, and may result in you working with your worst enemy to overcome a mission or goal. The possibilities are endless.
If you want to qualify, there's no better place to look than the Shadow Academy. In it, you will find two new courses, the ACC Fundamentals Course and the ACC Qualification Exam. Completion of both of these is all you need to qualify. No longer will you need to track down a member to challenge in a qualification duel. The completion of these two simple courses will launch you from the Shadow Academy, directly into the Antei Combat Center.

"What is the air speed velocity of an un laden Swallow?"
My sources tell me that the answer is roughly 11 meters per second, or 24 miles an hour, but I still maintain that the correct answer is 42.
Aerin asks:
"How much bones would a tree break, if a tree could break bones?"
Ask V'yr. I imagine she's broken plenty already.
V'yr Vorsa asks:
"When can we expect Return to start, approx.?"

"What can we expect from upcoming House competitions and the ongoing House story line?"

"I'd like to know more about what plans the summit has for the future fictional development of Odan Urr and how soon it will be before I get to step foot on New Tython."
These are all really good questions. The upcoming House Storyline will highlight our return to New Tython. If you're new, or haven't been following, Cy Thuron has established a monarchy on New Tython, resulting in the evacuation of the Jedi (As well as the death of Elleron Deciarus) and those who have been relocated to Haven, a secret staging site for our return. We can expect to return in full force in an attempt to liberate New Tython from Cy's oppressive monarchy, and unravel his plot to rule the planet alongside his mysterious master. The competitions will be varied, and you will be able to find a few that suit your skills. Most of them will come with the opportunity to make your logo or story canon, as well. If you haven't already, check out the storylines for the Batlleteams. Currently, we're shooting for an April release date for Return of the Light, with additional Battleteam Events to take place before then. However, you might step foot on New Tython sooner than might be expected, so stay tuned!
