You know. I couldn’t think of something for this. So I figured, hey, I’ll just ramble on and on until I could think of something. You know, just take up space until something important came to mind. Well, other than everything you’re seeing below this introduction part of my report.
But, nope. Nothing. I pretty much cover everything I wanted to say in later parts of the report; so continue onward!
We’ve got a few new members this month and two from Rogues; one from another clan and the other coming back to us after being on break. So I’d like to welcome everyone to Odan-Urr!
It’s the holidays! Whether one likes it or not. You know what this means, right? Yup. It’s time for family gatherings, work gatherings and whatever other holiday gatherings you’re headed off to.
So why not mention us? Movies are always a common topic to talk about, so why not talk about the upcoming Star Wars movie? Why not talk about the old ones? Heck, you may as well mention the Brotherhood while you’re at it! There are a lot of people out there that you may not suspect that are huge Star Wars fans, or need someone to break the ice when it comes to talking about what others would consider to be “nerd things”.
So break that ice. Talk about your passions. You never know; maybe someone you work with or someone you’re related to actually loves Star Wars and may be interested in the Brotherhood!
Yeah yeah, this isn’t really something meant for my position, but I’ve taken up the task of writing the wiki page for the VSD we won during Fading Light 3. I do have other work to do within the House and for the club, so this isn’t top priority, but I’ll hopefully have something for everyone to see by the new year.
I’ve sort of dropped the ball on keeping up with the Master/Student pairings in the House. That, and I’ve also been a bit bad at times keeping up with what some students are doing. To make up for it, I’ll be keeping a better track of how Journeymen are doing whether they’re in pairs or not. Hopefully this way things will be easier for all parties.
Yeah this was on here last month. I fell behind due to work/club wide projects. This will help Summit help you, so I’m hopefully going to be done it soon. People deserve the awards they’ve worked for; and I want to make sure you get them.
There was a couple people I could choose from this month, but one member’s dossier had a full page of activity in the last few weeks and has won herself the spot this month.
The Journeyman of the Month is: LaLa!
She originally joined mostly for the gaming aspect but has since then caught the eye of Deputy Grand Master Pravus and became his student. Over the last month, she has been promoted from Protector to Defender, netted 89 Clusters of Fire, a Crescent with a Sapphire Star, 2 Seals of the Crusader and has finished the Cryptography 101 and IRC Basics courses in the Shadow Academy. I hope to keep seeing you gaming and perhaps trying more of the other aspects of the Brotherhood and see you on your way to Knighthood!
I’d like to thank everyone who competed in Fading Light. I’m not sure who the teams were in the Run-On since I had just come to Odan-Urr when the Run-On started, but I’d like to thank you all for competing!
The ACC battles in part two were hard. It was right with the new ACC system as well, and for some of us the ACC became less than desirable after that, but even then Odan-Urr still did well against the rest of the Brotherhood! Even with the still existing bumps in the system, the ACC (especially the story hall) is a good place to learn how to write combat and up your writing skills. Check it out casually!
And Fading Light part three. Even though most of everyone else has, I’d like to give a big congratulations to everyone who made 5/5 competitions. I would also like to thank everyone that could put their time into competitions for the third part of Fading Light! It netted us a VSD which fits well with our current fleet.
I’d like to see us try even harder and hold higher expectations of each other as a House during the Great Jedi War in January. We can conquer when we put our minds to it and pump each other up!
Just because Fading Light is over doesn’t mean we should stop doing competitions! Continuing to do them will keep us from getting rusty in January. There’s only one right now, but check it out!
With Fading Light over, there’s been a lot more Brotherhood competitions popping up again. Get out there and represent the Jedi and Odan-Urr! I highly suggest trying out the Antei Contract Bureau Pilot!
Gorefest is back! It runs from November 21st to November 23rd. Get out there and get those double Clusters of Fire! There are also plenty of other competitions, so feel free to check out the competitions page.
There’s currently one position within the Brotherhood looking for applications! Join the Justicar’s office today and become the Right Hand of Justice!
In case you missed the news posts about Fading Light and Day of the Fox, here they are once again! We also have an official Steam group if you’re interested.
Congratulations again to Shorrura and Seraphol on getting Seals of Loyalty this time around.
We did a good job during Fading Light, but as a House and what we want to prove; we can do better! And we should strive to do it. We need to show everyone else what we’re made of and we can do better than 4th place! We can get in the top three!
And we will in the Great Jedi War if we commit ourselves to and hold each other at high standards.
Show me what you guys are made of!
