Introduction

Rhiann still doesn’t have good internet back. Apparently in my area it takes 10 days from the date you call to get an appointment to get internet installed. Thanks, my tiny city of 30k people. You’d think it wouldn’t take that long!

But I will be back in full swing starting the 25th of October. That includes gaming and 24/7 IRC presence, even if I’m sleeping or at work. I do apologize for the month of me being pretty inactive, but when the hotspot internet bill starts getting really expensive I have to spare myself from owing hundreds of dollars! Yeah. It’s that expensive.

New Members

The new members slowed down a bit this month, but a good bunch of them are very active and I’m very happy to see them climbing up the ranks on their way to becoming Jedi Knights!

Recruiting for Odan-Urr

We may be in the middle of Fading Light, but there is more coming in the future that we need to remember! The next Great Jedi War is on its way and it’s the perfect time to bring in more new people and train them for what’s coming up in the Brotherhood’s future.

Also, if you haven’t noticed, we’ve had a lot of members leave to take membership positions elsewhere in the club. This does start to lower our numbers, but bringing in new members will help us recover and will bring new ideas and potential new leaders into the club and into Odan-Urr.

So don’t forget; recruit whenever you can! Even if it’s just a few people a month!

Awards Tracking List

I already have a general tracker for the members of Odan-Urr finished to help Summit have a quicker glance at our members; but for us to be able to keep better track of crescents, medals, sacramentals and promotions without having to load a million pages, I’m working on this extra tracking list. It’s not a huge thing, it ought to be done within the mix of FL3. I don’t want to give myself too large of a project while trying to pull off FL3 in the short window when I get my good internet back.

But this project should help us keep track of you guys and make sure you get awards when you’re due for them!

Journeyman of the Month

This month was actually a bit tough to decide! We have three active Journeymen, and there was only a couple things that made me choose this member above the rest.

The Journeyman of the Month is: Enric Galazin!

Within the last two and a half weeks since he joined, Enric has gotten himself up to the rank of Protector and has done all of the Journeyman Hall exams as well as the two needed for promotions in previous ranks back when they were still required! The thing that really set him apart though was that he has entered in more competitions than the other contenders and has earned himself a Crescent with a Quartz Star in one of them!

So congratulations, Enric! Make sure you keep your master on your toes as time goes on!

Seeing as it’s Fading Light time, there’s only one competition up and running. It will be up and running until November 8th, so if you’re done Fading Light or need a short break from it, you can help Ooroo pick out their mascot!

Our time on Nicht Ka has come! Fading Light is running, and there’s 5 competitions to keep you busy. Participation is important, so even doing the competition really, really helps out the House!

Fading Light is really important for us as a House. It can really help us show everyone we’re ready to take on anything the Brotherhood can throw at us!
