Hello Gamers! The RoS was completed and the staff have been back at their posts. Got LOTS of exciting things coming! Congrats to everyone for a job well done, hope everyone enjoyed everything. Make sure you read Mav’s post with the ROS: Meridian Results if you haven’t.
At the beginning of December Drac put out a lot of information in his #25 Fist Report. If you did not read it I strongly advise you do. Within his report he shared the 2019 Roadmap, changes to GMRG calculation, Gorefest and more. Again, I will not go into detail for Drac gave plenty of that within his report. As always if you have any questions or concerns always feel free to msg\email myself or Drac.
I look forward to a great 2019 with you gamers! Don’t know about you all but I’m excited to see what is to come. Plus WoW is to be tested for support next month, thought we would never see the day but here it is! It will only get supported if YOU make it happen. Also to those that may have their wheels turning about supporting a certain game please review the Approval Process on the Gaming Information Wiki.
Also, there will be a new way to submit screenshots for test comps! No longer have to deal with zip files being too large or having to use another source for screenshots. When the test comp is live you will be able to submit like you would for a supported platform.
That’s right folks, it is that time again! We will be having TWO magistrate positions open. It is a great opportunity, please read below for more information.
What we are looking for in applications:
Positive attitude
Easy to work with others\ be part of a team
Willing to learn and teach\guide others
No minimum rank requirement. All may apply!
Basic understanding of the Rites of Combat
Consistent Telegram presence and Email Turnaround of 24 hours
At least one idea on how to make gaming better within the club
”What is the magistrates job?” The magistrates are responsible for reviewing and approving gaming submissions within 24hrs, setting up and running monthly DB-Wide gaming competitions, and assisting with revisions to the wiki where needed. These are six month positions.
“How do I apply?”, well great question! Simply write up your resume and email to BOTH myself (Juna) at [Log in to view e-mail addresses] and Drac at [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. Must follow this instruction!
“What should I write in my resume?” This is your chance to sell yourself! Tell us why you think you are the best person for the job. Do you have any wiki experience? Are you willing to learn if not? How could you help make gaming better within the club?
”When will applications be due?” Last day for applications will be January 15th 2019.
Application does not need to be in any specific format. You can pdf, Gdoc, Word Doc etc.
Good Luck to you all! And look forward to seeing plenty of applications!
Going back to September Warframe was top of the list for activity before the RoS! For the first time in months OW was not the top activity. Since then there have been a few updates here and there. Back in October the Chimera Update was live. With new weapons, customizations, dojo and etc. The newest big updates are the Fortuna Update. Which brought new K-Drive hoverboards, Kitguns, MOA Companions (customize able), Track - N-Tranq animals, new Corpus facilities, enemy units, bounties and more! During the RoS for October and November Diablo 3 raised up to the top for most activities. In September the new Season 15: Boon of the Horadrim was live. In the month of October D3 was announced to arrive on Switch: Eternal Collection, which was released at beginning of November. Also the beginning of November was Blizzcon, check out the lnk for wrap up information of each Blizzard game. Mid November the Patch preview for the PTR was released. For farther news or updates visit the Diablo 3 Website.
Overwatch, during the RoS submissions had dropped. Since my last report there has been a few new patches released. I won’t go into great detail, follow the link to read each one.
