Introduction

It's that time of the year once again, the Aliso Summer Festival is upon us!

New (Old) Event: Aliso Summer Festival

It's back in all its 80's nostalgia flavored logo glory, the Aliso Summer Festival. This event has been run in years past as a nice, low key competition series in the summer leading up to fall events (be they Pro Bowls or Venedettas. Hmm, foreshadowing?) that is also run by members of the summit outside of TuQ and myself. This year the event will be being put on by our two Quaestors Tahiri and Titius, so this'll be their first dance. The event will run from Monday August 5th through Sunday August 18th, with each single week phase running from the 5th to the 11th and the 12th through the 18th. So get out there and have some summer fun, or as Tahiri and Titius would put it:

COME ONE! COME ALL! The annual Aliso Summer Festival is back and we're bringing you all 2 weeks of fun and games. Hosted by QUA Tahiri and fellow QUA Titius (who hopefully won’t set off the fireworks finale too soon), who are bringing some new life to the festival. All Plagueians are invited to participate in the event. Come chill out, have fun, and goodluck during the games.

Participation

Please be sure to read the rules of each weekly competition and submit your entry in one of the recommended formats that it requires.

Scoring:

The scoring and placements for the weekly competitions will be based as below.
* 1st place: 4 points
* 2nd place: 3 points
* 3rd place: 2 points
* Participation: 1 point

Placement in the weekly parent competition will award 1 bonus point for 1st-3rd place. In the event of a tie, placements will be determined based on the number of first place finishes, followed by second places if necessary and so on. At the end of the two weeks the individual scores will be totaled along with any extra points, including an extra point towards your overall score for participating in every competition in this series.

Foreshadowing Pays Off: Pro Bowl Ahoy!

Not too many details to release as yet outside of this little teaser for the location of this year's Pro Bowl: Jedha. So, be sure to be on the lookout for more details soon(™), and get your gear ready to visit a ruined hellscape. Fun times will be had by all!
