Greetings, everyone! Welcome to my first Consul report. It is an absolute pleasure to be returning to the role after so many years away (for those of you who don’t know, I was also Consul of Clan Tarentum back in 2010). There are a lot of awesome things in store for Plagueis, and my goal is to help the clan become even more successful than before.
We have a lot to cover tonight, so without further ado, let’s get into it.
As you might be able to see, I am posting this report late at night on July 7th (Pacific Standard Time). While this has typically been my schedule as Proconsul, I have decided to switch things around a bit. Beginning this month, the report schedule will be as follows:
The 7th: Consul Report. Focused mainly on upcoming projects, future storylines, competitions both clan-wide and DB-wide, and detailed plans for Plagueis.
The 14th: Karness Muur House Report.
The 21st: Ajunta Pall House Report.
The 28th: Proconsul Report. Focused on current news, clan accomplishments, and in-progress competitions and activities within Plagueis.
Why the change? I have personally found it more beneficial to see what is to come at the beginning of the month, while the end of the month serves as a wrap-up for all of our activity. This way, each Consul report serves its purpose of broadcasting what is yet to happen, while the Proconsul report summarizes what has already occurred. It’s a simple modification, but hopefully, it’ll make things feel a bit cleaner and smoother.
All right. Enough housekeeping. Time for the good stuff.
The application process for Proconsul of Plagueis/Dread Lord’s Wrath is ongoing until Friday, July 12th! Even if you do not think you’ll snag the position, not only can your proposals and ideas in your application seriously help me improve Plagueis as its Consul, but if I select someone in a current leadership position, you may be considered for the role left behind. Click the link below for more details on how to apply.

Now that I am officially Consul, I have been working with clan members on an abundance of both administrative and lore-based tasks. Scudi Ferria and Khryso Mallus have taken charge of updating Plagueis’s main history page, adding the newest chapters of our clan’s stories. I thank them for their work, and I will be editing what they have and hopefully seeing to it being posted by the end of the month during the latest Great Jedi War.
That being said, this is a great time to update your character wiki pages, or to create one if you have not done so already. We want to make sure that everything is up to date so your character is properly represented in the storyline and major events of the clan. As a wiki staff member myself, I am happy to assist any of you with questions or concerns regarding your characters’ wiki pages.
I would also love to see all hands on deck with regularly keeping all Plagueis articles up to date, including location articles, house articles, military articles, and storyline articles. There are obviously plenty of chances for recognition and shinies from this work.
For those of you who may have been sleeping under a cozy, comfy, mossy rock, the Thirteenth Great Jedi War is expected to begin on Saturday, July 20th. It is a five-week event full of Brotherhood fiction, action, and competitions, the latter of which you can earn shinies in so you can help your clan become the best out of all the clans. If you have not participated in an event like this before, let me give you a brief rundown:
Most recently with wars, members work hard to represent their clan and get them to the status of First Clan by participating in as many war competitions as possible and placing in as many of them as possible. In order to ensure maximum participation, you would be expected to do what we call a bin, which is a designated sub-category of competitions within the event typically categorized in a specific way (e.g. Graphics/Fiction bin, Gaming bin, Miscellaneous bin, etc.). Doing at least one event per bin is sure to help out your clan tremendously, and if you’ve got the time and energy, completing all the bins in full is a crazy feat. You will also have plenty of opportunities to work in teams and small groups.
With the last GJW, only three members of Plagueis did “all the bins.” We’d like to see those numbers skyrocket - we know we have some incredibly active and talented members on our roster, and we have a past reputation of being one of the most hands-on and highest participating clans in the Brotherhood. So let’s pump up the hype, get to building our individual game plans for the war, and show everyone else the strength of the Ascendant Clan.
During the application process for Consul, I made a conscious effort to contact and communicate with nearly every single member of Plagueis. I asked the question: What is something you would like to see happen with the clan structurally, storyline-wise, or culturally? I firmly believe that as your Dread Lord, I am representing as many of my roster’s needs, desires, and expectations while planning the future events and lore of Plagueis. Directly lifted from my Consul application, here is a list of answers I received from you all:
There are a few points of observation I’d also like to note from these responses:
First point of observation: I am well aware of how long it’s been since we recorded a proper episode of the PlagCast. We’ve all been busy with life and clan duties, and I think it’s time we got back on track. That being said, I would like to see more of a rotation of Plagueians being featured on the podcast itself - perhaps keeping two to three permanent regular members of the podcast, while the other two spots change per episode (for example, Arden and TuQ and Julius may be the permanent regulars, while one to two other members swap out and new guests are added as well). This keeps the PlagCast fresh and ensures that all of Plagueis is included.
This does mean, if you haven’t figured it out already, that I will be stepping away from the PlagCast as its “chief moderator.” I firmly believe that, as Consul, I need to be focusing on the overall clan itself and giving you all opportunities to step in and shine. Just make sure you have a working microphone and Internet connection! I’m sure I’ll be featured in the podcast occasionally - just not every episode now.
Second point of observation! In regards to major events in Plagueis, I will be transitioning us back to a tried and true formula used by Teylas and Slags when they were Consuls of our clan: The versus/team style. I’m sure that’s not what they called it, of course, but what it means is with each major event and storyline we organize for Plagueis, members will be split into competing teams (i.e. even PINs vs. odd PINs, Team Dread Lord vs. Team Wrath, house vs. house, and so on). This will hopefully bring back a stronger incentive to participate, as well as a fresh team vibe every event. If it worked before, let’s use it again.
Finally, third point of observation. It is no secret that a major part of the upcoming Great Jedi War plot will be focused on the Severian Principate, an Imperialist organization who may be friend or foe. Keep in mind, the Principate is extremely anti-slavery. Plagueis, of course, has slaves - or as we call them during diplomatic missions, “assets.” How do we respond to the Principate? Do we ally with them? Or is there no way we can partner up?
Your Quaestors and I, over the next week, will be checking in with you in regards to these questions and receiving your insight in a rather casual survey (no Google Forms; just good old email and Telegram). We want to know how your individual character feels about the Principate, as well as how you think the clan should react to them. Plagueis, as the only solely dark side clan in the Brotherhood now, is going to respond differently to the Principate than, say, Clan Vizsla or Clan Odan-Urr. We want to hear from you, so make your thoughts plain to us when we approach you, and you may very well affect the way we approach the GJW’s storyline.
Phew, this report’s already getting long. But it ain’t over ‘til it’s over (thanks for the quotation, Yogi Berra).
Due to the upcoming Great Jedi War, there are not a whole lot of DB-wide events to participate in; however, there are still some to submit to if you feel like having some fun before the big vendetta starts! I have provided links below:
https://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/competitions/15029 - MAA Puzzle #24 (very simple puzzle comp. Easy to get done quickly!)
https://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/competitions/14981 - It came in the night… (looks like a fun and intriguing fiction event, with a thriller-esque plot!)
https://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/competitions/15009 - [HRLD] War Time Propaganda (Slags and Xen put this together so you could create your very own propaganda poster before the war started!)
https://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/competitions/15010 - [HRLD] Summertime Sunshine (What’s your character up to this summer? Create an image of them vacationing it up!)
https://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/competitions/14983 - Speaking Beyond the Veil (a fiction comp that got extended for another week or so. More serious topic, but your Dread Lord participated, and if you want to outwrite your Consul, now’s your chance!)
These next two parts will ultimately be covered in Proconsul reports, but since we don’t have a Proconsul just yet, I’ll cover them for now.
We have seen a few transfers into Clan Plagueis, and we are thrilled to see our ranks grow. One of these members is a guy I had the fortune of working with when I was in Arcona, and the other two are returning to Plagueis after a hiatus. Please welcome Sen’tai Denari, Talos, and Rachelle Grimblade!
Special shout-outs to Khryso for being promoted to the coveted rank of Dark Jedi Knight and to Silent for earning a Steel Cross! Well done, everyone.
Folks, it’s been a long first Consul report. But I am so excited for Plagueis and what it can become in the oncoming weeks, months, and years. I am beyond honored to serve as your Dread Lord, and I am looking forward to seeing what you all are capable of.
Let’s kick some serious butt in the upcoming Great Jedi War and show everyone that we’re not to be trifled with!

good "first" report boss.
I like that we will have rotating Plagueians in PlagCast. This will allow everyone to get to know everyone more, especially for doing fiction or run-on events where we can write their characters better.
With that said, and with the upcoming GJW, we should really look into "freeing" the lave populace to get on the good side of the alliance we want to do as allies. Might work for us.
Great Report, Ronnie! It looks like Plagueis is in great hands.
Nice report, boss! Happy to be back, looking forward at what’s to come and helping out.
my bet is on Furious becoming PeCon
Great report! I am really looking forward to working with you as the new Sith in charge!
