...A great victory has been won. The skies no longer rain with death — the spacelanes bear only commerce — sentients everywhere walk upright in the sunlight. The entire Brotherhood lies quietly at peace.
The War is over, long live the War! Or something like that I guess.

This month's art feature is another piece done by KaRolding featuring Kelly Mendes and Tasha'Vel Versea. I hate it when my minions fight...
As I'm sure everyone has seen, the Great Jedi War results have been posted here. On the participation front, Plagueis itself saw 180 total entries from 22 unique participants. Some of the highlights include:
Given what we've done over the past while when it comes to participation, the one thing that leaves me a bit sad is where we were participation wise vs. the field. It's my hope that moving forward we, the summit, can serve you guys better and make sure that we're showing you how much we value your activity. I'm looking forward to the next Brotherhood vendetta so we can put those promises to work as well.
On that front, the Clan leadership and I are currently crunching the numbers so we can start to get various reward requests sent up the chain to the Great Panda so that our members can start getting all that lewt they've earned. And, on the subject of Clan leadership...
Abadeer has talked to me recently about how real life has just been destroying him of late, and so he has stepped down from his position as Proconsul. I'd like to thank him for his service since taking over the position nine months ago and would love to welcome him back to the summit if things ever get less hairy on the life front. With his position vacant, I'd considered opening up applications because I wasn't sure my #1 internal choice would want the gig (given that he's also slave to the other debate coach in the DJB, Farrin). However, given what his time commitments in both real life (his Canadian army slavery is also not long for this world) and his workload in the Academy mines will look like moving forward, Laren Uscot was more than happy to jump at the opportunity. Replacing him as Aedile in House Karness Muur is everyone's favorite mask, TuQ'uan Varick. TuQ'uan's move out of the Circle battleteam leader position leads us to our next topic, structural changes.
The Clan summit and I have thought that, conceptually, the Circle (and the predecessor teams in Karness Muur and Ajunta Pall) are very good ideas. New member focused units with leaders that focus directly on new member engagement. In practice, however, we haven't seen the number of new members that are responsive and involved in the Clan/Brotherhood as a whole to really justify the existence of a separate unit with separate leaders, the work just hasn't been there that needs to be done. As such, I've dissolved the Circle as a unit, with new members being sent directly to the Houses. Our Rollmaster position will still work with new members to guide them through the Brotherhood, but will be doing so by liaising with the House summits. If we ever see a real uptick in new joins, the summit and I will revisit the training team concept. Additionally, the Circle can and will still continue to exist as a fictional concept and location, so no lore is gone away, promise!
In addition to the Great Jedi War results, the spoils of war have also been posted by Evant here. Being the good little capitalists we are (Darth Plagueis was a Muun, after all), we've already spent our money to buy some new stuff, creating job and stimulating the Brotherhood economy.
Much of the changes have been in the form of upgrades rather than new additions, for example all of our Raider-I corvettes are now Raider-II's, but we did get a brand new ship in the form of an Acclamator for our new PCON to bomb around in. Additionally, since the Abrogator got a little bit… exploded and crashed into a planet, that ship has now been upgraded to a Strike Cruiser. Yay! (And I'd suggest that you go read the Team Beyond run on for details on what happened to our poor, poor Pelta.)
Additionally, the Ascendant Legion got an whole new armored regiment, bringing our total from three regiments to four and basically doubling the number of tanks, walkers, and general pew-pew that we have. This was long on the drawing board, as we made the decision with our initial purchase to short our army a little bit to leverage credits for the big, evil Imperial star destroyer that serves as our flagship. Now, our Ascendant Legion has caught up with the Ascendant Fleet.
This is normally the place for a bit of a closing remark or summary of what's going on or what's being looked forward to. However, this month I want to use it for something slightly different. As some of you may (or may not) have noticed, I've been less "around" than normal over the last two months, and reports haven't been dropping in the meantime either. I did want to discuss some of what's been happening of late, and assure you that I have not, in fact, disappeared on you guys.
I had planned to release a pre-GJW hype report the week before the start of the event as well as set up all our internal tracking spreadsheets that we use to monitor activity during a major event. However, that was not to be. Some in the clan know that I live in northern California in the town of Santa Rosa, and, essentially, my town caught on fire the Sunday night of that week. I ended up evacuating from my home at about 5 am Monday morning after waking up to the smell of smoke and seeing the sky lit by flames less than a mile from my home. To get a feel of what that night was like, the best I can offer is video shot by a Berkeley, CA engine company that was called up to fight the blaze. I was out of my house for a bit over a week, and my work was also closed as it was located within a mandatory evacuation zone.
After the evacuations were lifted, I ended up working extra hours at work as some of my coworkers had lost homes in the fires. Between my day job and my two speech & debate jobs, I ended up working 26 days straight between October 15th and November 9th. So, suffice it to say, my time has been eaten like no time in my recent memory. However, things are stabilizing once again, and promise to be back to normal in the coming days. As we've been saying around my county, #SonomaCountyStrong. Here in Plagueis, we're going to keep going and I'm going to keep working for our future all the same. #PlagueisStrong.

RIP Abrogator, long live Reg!
Congrats, Laren!
Congrats old boss Laren, as well as TuQ. Also, glad things are leveling out, Selika!
Thanks for the PCON work Abadeer. Congrats to Bubba, Kelly, and the RO team for GJW awesomeness, and to TuQ'uan and Laren for the moving up in the world.
Congrats to those that have moved up, as welll as Dacien and RO Team Beyond for their contributions to the war effort. Looking forward to writing recs so people get the recognition they deserve.
Congratulations to all of Plaguis for all the hard work you did put into the war. I'm sure your new leadership will lead you to a better future. Congrats to the new guys and again my hat is off to a great battle, especially in the pazaak arena. Kelly, how you didn't go insane playing all those matches is a wonder.
Congratulations to everyone who participated and placed in Plagueis! Dacien, you are a writing beast! Send me your work, dude!
While our overall placement wasn't what we wanted, I am looking forward to the new leadership pushing our clan forward and working from both our strengths and our weaknesses.
Being someone who lives relatively close to Slags, I, too, was affected by the fires and smoke. My job has also affected my ability to be a truly active member competition-wise. I seriously value your participation and stepping up when I couldn't.
Onwards and upwards!
Glad you made it out of the fire evacuation safe. Great work in the war and the RO streak.
I’m really looking forward to working closer with Furios as Aedile of Karness Muur, it is an incredible honour (albeit a daunting task) that you have seen enough potential in me to trust me thus far.
Everyone who did participate should be really proud of their work. If you haven’t had a chance to read the Team Beyond RO should do so, not only was it well deserving of the #1 place but it was also incredibly entertaining to read.
I will raise a glass, to Slags’ safety, to Abadeer’s tenure, to Laren’s future, and to my not screwing this up!
Reg the lad
With time having freed up, I'm looking forward to the work we're all going to do, together.
To the PCONs of the recent past years that I've had the pleasure of working with, I have big shoes to fill here in the Ascendant Clan. But as we always do, I will adapt, ascend, and avail, and meet the task that's been graciously passed to me. And to all, thanks for the congrats. I really appreciate it.
Tu'Quan, my friend, congratulations. Your consistency, charm, and drive have gotten you this far. I'm glad this club means as much to you as it does to me - and to all of us. You and Furios will make a fantastic team.
And finally, to you guys: to Plagueis, and to all: while the scope and scale of activity varied from Clan to Clan, house to house, congratulations on another Great Jedi War now complete. Plagueis has a lot of work to do, and I can't stress enough how excited I am to begin the journey patiently upwards.
Oh, and I echo Kelly's sentiment: raise a glass to Reg, arguably the oddest NPC survivor of an RO I have ever seen.
It was a pleasure playing all those pazaak matches. Thank you for the art mention. :)
Gratz guys and gals
