Introduction

Hello there fellow Plagueians. It is time for your regularly scheduled Proconsul Report looking back at the month that was December 2020 and the year as a whole. We’ll be highlighting competitions for the here and now as well as taking a dive into the news the rest of the club has come up with. As you may have noticed, December has been a fairly quiet month and this will be something of a shorter report to reflect that. But before we get into that I just want to let you all know how proud I am of you all. This year has been rough for everyone and yet here we still are. Life has had its ups and downs as it always does, yet we persevere and made it to this point. While it may not feel like it, that’s an achievement and I want you all to be proud of yourselves.

Favourite Moments of the year

At the end of a year full of highs and lows, I thought it best to focus on the highs and asked Plagueians on Telegram to mention their favourite club-related moment of the year and you guys didn’t disappoint. By far the most popular was the Probowl event we ran with Scholae Palatinae and Taldryan, which is definitely a strong point for Plagueis in how we reach out and collaborate on events with other clans, the Probowl being the most consistent example of this. I’m glad to see that Plagueians enjoyed this and I’m sure there will be many more Probowls to come.

Another thing that was mentioned was the sudden but inevitable betrayal of one Laren Uscot. This was definitely a neat idea for a fiction arc and one we’re not done with yet. Who knows where we might go in pursuit of revenge? When the time comes we will be letting you know more about that, but rest assured Plagueis aren’t going to let Laren get away with what he did.

My personal favourite isn’t really one moment or event in particular as much as it is being a part of the community that we’ve managed to build up. Like I said earlier in this report, it’s been a tough year, but we’ve been there for each other and watching people achieve major life milestones in spite of everything that’s been going on has made me proud to be a member of this clan.
