My first report as Rollmaster of Clan Plagueis in which I talk about Plagueis’ Master-Student Program, battle teams, and Journeymen accomplishments. Among a few other things.

Introduction

Woah! I haven’t written a report in nearly three years. Crazy. Members of Clan Plagueis know me, but to those keeping up with the rest of the Brotherhood I’m Aabsdu Dupar, former Consul of Plagueis and former Headmaster. I recently returned to active status during the last round of the Dark Crusade and have jumped right back into the swing of things. I’m loving every moment.

Clan Plagueis as three teams in the Bosthirda Run-On Event (which ends tomorrow!) and of those three teams we have three Journeymen participating: Kul’tak Drol, Dacian Corsair, and Vassago Shax

My Job as Rollmaster

Is to organize and supervise. Clan Plagueis has settled on a joint balance between journeymen-based battle teams and a master-student program. New Plagueians are automatically placed by me into their respective house’s team. The Battle Team Leader and Sergeant are then responsible for guiding that member from Apprentice to Protector. Once a Protector, the member is paired by search or me with a Dark Jedi Knight or higher, who guides them to knighthood.

The transition to our new BT-system has resulted in a bit of a bottleneck at the lower ranks that Zed, Ophelia, Taranae, Brim, myself, and the house leaders are working hard to work through. Needless to say, when it comes to new members Clan Plagueis has a group of fantastic leaders to guide members through the ranks.

My personal goal is to not just have members complete Promotheus requirements but add a Plagueis-themed element to inspire clan loyalty and show Plagueis is a clan of brothers and sisters proud of their heritage. More details to come!

Tips for Ranking

For those of you reading my report and wanting to boost up through the early ranks (especially towards Guardian), I’d like to highlight a few great ways to do so in this section.

First, a fairly obvious one - take Shadow Academy courses. Some people get really into this, others not so much. My tip - focus on specific degrees. Earn degrees, earn SA Society rank, which checks off in Promotheus. These days, you can retake exams and only have to do the questions you got wrong (way better than when I was a young one).

Second - play pazaak. It’s free and browser-based, there are always people looking to play, and you earn Clusters of Fire! Earn Clusters to rank up in the GMRG, which checks off in Promotheus.

Report from di Plagia

As I am the sole di Plagia right now, Monty asked me to make a short statement on our selection of new members to hold the clan title. First, I’m happy to announce that Dacien "BubbaX" Victae has been awarded the di Plagia title for his hard work both in House and Clan Plagueis! Bubba was a previously holder of the title, so we’re happy to bring him back to the fold. Monty has been very gracious is welcoming members like Bubba and me back to Plagueis, for which we are in turn grateful.

Of course, the real question concerns new di Plagia. After much discussion, Monty, Bubba, and I have decided to wait to award the title until closer to the Great Jedi War. Our reasoning is summarized as - we wish to award the title for diligent contributions to Clan Plagueis, not just House Plagueis. Thus, to award the title, we must exist as a new clan for a little while longer. Fear not, discussions are active and many are considered. There are, of course, many members who were instrumental in our re-clanning, for which they will be suitably rewarded.
