Proconsul Applications

Once again, we find ourselves in Plagueis saying goodbye to Qormus (Who?) as Proconsul, though this time he's defecting upwards to the Council to go to the Celestial Temple and speak with the Prophets, or Wormhole Aliens if you prefer. I want to once again thank him for his excellent service to the Ascendant Clan, while wishing him good luck in the new work he's taken the burden of.

With Qormus's elevation, however, that means applications for Proconsul of Clan Plagueis are open effective immediately. I will be accepting applications via email for two weeks, through site reset on the afternoon/evening of December 25th. (I want a new PCON for Christmas!) There is no minimum rank requirement, though past leadership experience will be helpful. Applicants from all Clans will be considered, as I want to select the best person for the job no matter who they may be. Some of the requirements of the position are, but are not limited to, the following:

• 65% or better competition participation in all calendared Clan events or Brotherhood Vendettas.
• Be present on Clan communication platforms (especially Discord) so that members know that the leadership is available and approachable.
  
  • 24 hour or less turn around to email/chat communications
• Reach out to members in a one-on-one manner to cultivate activity during calendared clan events and Brotherhood Vendettas.
• Evaluate all subordinates and members for awards at least once per quarter.
• Release a monthly report on the 15th of each month +/- 2 days.
  • This report should focus on activity measures and awards presented to the Clan.
• Work with Quaestors to ensure they have the tools and support they need to build successful Houses.
• Co-Organize major Clan-wide calendared event competitions. ** At least two events per calendar year.
• Contribute fiction updates for Clan wide lore advancement.

The position of Proconsul is an excellent stepping stone to further advancement within the Brotherhood, just look at the last guy making it to the Council! There are high expectations, but also equally high opportunities for reward and recognition. Feel free to include any and all plans or ideas you have for the position as well. Ideas regarding the expansion of Role Playing activities within Clan Plagueis are encouraged, but not required or a deal breaker.
