Welcome to another PCON report for Odan-Urr in which I touch on general activity in April and promote some of our more active members.
“For those uninitiated to this year-long competition, this is a year-long activity-based competition to fight for the title of “Scimitar of Lord Hoth”, which reflects one’s dedication and loyalty to the clan. Doing things together and engaging in competitions is at the heart of our club and this competition recognizes all DB activity you do. Every month, we tabulate the results and at the end of the year, the Odanite who has accumulated the most points earns the right to claim the title “Scimitar of Lord Hoth 2019” and this fancy fictional sword below.”
So I missed my report in April so I'm covering March and April here for you guys to see. So, here's a bit of a surprise. Agate won 1st place in both months, Essik won 2nd and Revak 3rd, with Vez winning 4th both months. What a roster! I am immensely proud of all of you for being this active, especially the top three. Continue being awesome.
I would also like to acknowledge Shayna who won 5th place in March, and Elyon, one of our newest members, for winning 5th in April! This is some solid work, guys. Keep doing an excellent job
To recap, for both March and April:
1st place: Knight Agate Gua’lara
2nd place: Lieutenant Colonel Essik Lyccane
3rd place: Seer Revak Kur
Congratulations to Agate Gua’lara for winning her fourth (fourth? By the Force!) Scimitar of Hoth in a row this year! Excellent work!
“Toxic! An addictive deadly new drug has hit the market and is spreading fast. Every man, woman, and child that consumes it dies wanting more. Concerned citizens, who find themselves targeted by dealers, cry out for help but their governments are unequipped or unwilling to take on lucrative blackmarkets. Moreover, the Perlemian Cartel, a powerful crime Syndicate, actively protects its distribution channels, silencing any who threatens the operation. But alas, one voice broke through, sending a coded message to Odan-Urr. It reads “Help. Found the source. Deep Sea Facility. Hurry”
Toxic! is the second event in the newly dubbed Peacekeepers series of events which sees our Clan pitted against the scum of the galaxy to help those in need.
For the aftermath of the previous event, Kidnapped!, go read [Aura's Clan update![(https://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/news/clan-house-news-odan-urr-may-update)
There are two single competitions and one co-operative competition running.
You can find the parent competition here: Toxic! and the three child competitions below.
...don’t forget the Scimitar of Lord Hoth - May 2020! :)
Hey, Vyr, you numpty I hear you say remember that event that you ran not too long ago which included Jedi, ancient mysteries, archeology and a decent amount of Indiana Jones music? I hear you ask What happened to that I hear as I feel eyes on me, judging me.
Well, I'm happy to say that Seven Pillars is alive and well and will be continuing after the next Great Jedi War, which we expect will start end-of-May-beginning-of-June. Now, the most important detail you have to know is that the Seven Pillars are a continuous story, sort of like a story arc in a book or game. We will visit a new planet, with new mysteries, but intrinsically connected to the last one. Keep an eye out for the teaser ;D
As for the Great Jedi War, for those of you who haven't yet participated in one...
The Great Jedi Wars are massive events that involve all members of all Clans. They are run by the Dark Council and award huge awards and, often, battlefield promotions. Imagine skipping ranks because you're that good? Yeah, that's what you can do.
We'll keep you posted on the Great Jedi War as we learn new info, so keep watching Telegram and ask us if you have any questions. We are at your disposal.
Full insurance from Miraluka and old people mischief.
Talk to your team and split the work. Have one person write it out, have one person find the graphics and another person put it together. You shouldn't need more than 3 people on board, but if you do, there's always work for folks depending on what you're doing. Agree to delegate work early on and talk about your ideas, no matter how outlandish.
It smells like socks in here. :D To be honest, I don't think much has changed. We had plenty of members, some new stories going on. We did have the whole New Tython thing to worry about, though, but there's really not a lot of difference apart from seeing some new people around. It's still the Clan I love.
Read up. Basically the same advice. Sort your priorities: 1. Agree on a theme, 2. Delegate tasks, 3. Make sure it's clear what everyone is doing at what time, 4. Talk, share ideas, talk some more, have fun and talk some more. :D
Not really. Unless you want to leave the kid with Nayru. Which is fine, I think.
As I haven't the space to do a small disertation, I will direct you here.
(Definitely astronauts.)
I'd liek to share some of our members' art, whether made by their own hand or commissioned.
Again, I am immensely proud to serve such hardworking members. Please keep up the excellent work!
Usually, I am available on Telegram under the tag @MarinakaVyr or via mail (which you can find on my dossier). Feel free to talk to me at any time. :)
May the Force be with you.
