Ood’s Quaestorial Report

Greetings all,

I am purposely going to keep this short:

As of this moment, I’m stepping down from the position of Galeres Quaestor. Our Aedile Zosi’val’ria will be stepping into the Quaestor position from this moment onwards. This was planned months ago and was going to go into effect at the end of the summer regardless. We’re moving it up for reasons, one of which being the epic awesomeness of our own Siv. I’ll stay on as Aedile for a while to support and assist Siv in running the House. This too was planned quite some time ago and I’m expecting to step back from Aedile sometime in October (unless circumstances require me to stay on a bit longer of course).

It’s been a real fun six months leading you guys! A great honour too!

We’ve been insanely active in the last half year, and I wanted to quickly illustrate this in this final QUA report from me. In the time I’ve been in charge of the House, you guys have earned a combined:

That is a mighty fine haul of medals and promotions for a House to collectively earn in six months! And this is just counting the stuff the people currently in the unit did in this timeframe. And thus discounting the efforts of those who have moved to other positions in the clan or who have moved into the rogues.

SIV MESSAGE

Hey guys! Your friendly neighborhood blueberry here. It’s an honor to be stepping into the position of QUA. It’s something I’ve been looking forward to. I have some plans coming up, including some weekly activities for our house based on the feedback you gave me a bit back. We have some craziness this month due to May the 4th festivities, but I’ll be putting out a little newsletter after that detailing what I have in store for us.

SHIP PURCHASE UPDATE

The planning has been done. The vote has been passed. And if all goes well, the new ships will be purchased on this day (or maybe tomorrow).

As described, we’ll be getting a set of ships:

• Tartan-class Patrol Cruiser
  
• CR70 Corellian Corvette
  
• CR90 Corellian Corvette
  
• Quasar Fire-class Cruiser Carrier
  

In relation to the first topic of this report, expect myself or the QUA to set up a series of naming competitions.
The Galeres’ “small fleet” will be our mobile task-force for future missions and adventures.

It appears that Bril gets to hold on to the House Artifact for another month. Congratulations Bril! Although, it appears that Atty is making an effort to dethrone him. Let’s see where this goes…
