Greetings fellow Dakhani! Welcome to QUA report 4. This one will be short in order to explain something important which recently took into effect for the House and one of its respected Battle Teams.

They Come And They Go

After much discussion about the team and its activity we have come to the decision to close Sapphire Squadron. The team had been suffering for awhile due to inactivity despite Mactire’s efforts to invigorate the team and create a general interest in its members.

Sapphire Squadron has been around for a very long time, and if you take a look at its history this is not the first time it’s been shut down. We feel that Sapphire Squadron may one day be back in full force, but for the time being we will not be looking to support a second Battle Team.

Because of the decision to shut down SS, there is no position available as BTL in another team since it is already fulfilled. This means that Mactire has stepped down as acting BTL of SS. He has some parting words for it’s members which you will find near the end of the report.

Members in Sapphire Squadron have been removed from the team and placed in the House. Should you want to join Devil’s Shroud, please fill in a transfer request to DS, or pm me or Bentre on TG and we will get you sorted out as soon as possible!

I would like to point out that the closing of a Battle Team is not the end of the world. This does not mean the House is suffering inactivity, nor does it mean that Mactire failed in his duties. This only means that we decided to fold in one team in order to be able to focus on the sole remaining team and create a healthy and active atmosphere there.

Greetings Sapphire Squadron,

I am here today not to do a normal report. It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you all that Sapphire Squad is shutting down. The Summit has decided that since there aren’t many active members so for now we are being placed into one Squad. I want to eternally thank you all for your support when I first came to Sapphire, and for your continued support these past few months. I know that you all have lives and I am truly grateful for any effort that you could have placed into the Clan. It makes me proud to have served with you.

Try not to think of this as an end, but as a new beginning. One that I hope we will be able to make a strong comeback over time and bring Sapphire Squad back to life. It is an old team with a lot of history that we should always try to honor it and keep it with us anyplace we go.

May the Force serve you all in all aspects that your need. May Darkness embrace you in its embrace. May Greed persuade you in your quests. May we all drink and remember this place fondly.
