Wait. Weren't you that Headmaster guy?

Why yes, yes I was. A lot of people have asked why I decided on the move from Dark Councillor to Tribune, and I think Muz summed it up well in his report. I felt I had achieved most of what I had wanted to achieve as part of the Shadow Academy, and without fresh ideas, the job had become a job more of administration than innovation. I felt I had the ideas and drive to help foster the Brotherhoods recruitment efforts, so put my hand up for the job when I saw it offered.

I'll be honest, it was a tough decision. I've nearly always been at least a magistrate of the Shadow Academy. The place feels like home.

Don't forget, if you feel you have the fresh ideas and drive to continue bettering the Shadow Academy, get your application for Headmaster in to Muz and Raken ASAP. You have until the end of Wednesday night.

Star Wars Day: May the 4th

One of the most popular tweets that went out from our account this week was an image from Star Wars' Instagram account advertising Star Wars Day and showing a bunch of kids with lightsabers. This reminded me of two things:

1. I really need to get around to buying my daughter her first saber.
2. It'd probably be a cool idea for DB members to share photos of their kids (or kids at heart) that are celebrating May the 4th.

If you're interested in taking part (I'm sure people don't want to see pictures of my daughter all day) please do feel free to send pictures and/or stories to my email, tweet it at the DB Twitter account of post it on the Facebook page.

The old Twitter links don't link any more!

You'd be right, and that is one of the downsides of changing your Twitter username. The old name, @DarkJediFanClub was just a little too long, and after some brainstorming on IRC (huge thanks to Mirus) we finally settled on changing it to @SWDJB. Yes, @dbjedi was taken.

If you were already following the twitter account, the name change won't have affected you; you're still a follower. If you weren't already following the account, WHY THE HECK NOT?!

At the bottom of this report, you'll find some clickable buttons which will take you to the various official brotherhood social profiles. YouTube is currently missing from the line up, frankly that is because there is nothing on there at the moment. Once content starts going up on it, I'll include it.

Google+ is still foreign to me. Are you a guru?

Okay, it's not that foreign. I just haven't dedicated any time to learning it's intricacies If you happen to be up to speed on Google+, want to help man the Brotherhood's page, and join the Recruitment team, please send a short application to me.

While we're at it, the same goes for Twitter.

Star Wars Celebration Anaheim

You may have noticed I posted two news items on the topic of next years Celebration convention. I'm very keen on having an official DB presence at the event, and whether that takes the form of our own booth, "fan event", or both, is still up in the air.

We'll soon have a subforum dedicated to discussion about this even on the Brotherhood forums, and I will do a news post announcing this when it happens. I think I missed something

As always happens when I write a report, I always forget to include something very important. I have a very strong feeling that this report is no different, but sitting here trying to think of just what it is isn't doing the trick. Instead of delaying this report any longer while I rack my brain: this is it! Report over.

P.S. No one on IRC was awake enough to ask me questions before I posted this, maybe next time.
