Hello everyone!

Before I get into the open position, I just wanted to take a quick moment to thank everyone that participated in Great Jedi War XV: Ascension. This was my second time grading a vendetta, and I have to say there were some really amazing entries! Congratulations to everyone for a job well done, and trust that we're hard at work on those results for you. Now, onto the main point of this news post.

Even with the vendetta time factored in, Magistrate Bentre Sadow has served in his position for five and a half months and it's time to open applications. I will be accepting applications for a new Magistrate to serve a term of six (6) months. Applications open immediately, and close on July 23rd.

You can apply using the Google Form at this link. Here are applicant restrictions:

• Be willing to work as a member of a team
• Be consistent in activity on staff work
• Not a current Dark Council staff member at time of application. Tribunes are not Dark Council staff members, and are eligible to apply. I will never take effort away from another office.

I'm pretty chill when it comes to my staff. I expect work to be done, but as long as you're making an effort and plugging away consistently on something that's all that matters to me. I don't expect you to do something every day, but consistent and reliability is a must with this gig. Our entire job as the Regent Staff is to manage existing content and (hopefully) bring new and exciting things for members to spend their hard-earned credits on. Learning the ins-and-outs of how we create and curate content for our members is a great experience as previous staffers know, and there's something fulfilling about watching members ooze over new content. Everyone, should they meet the above restrictions, is welcome and encouraged to apply. Previous staffers, and Bentre, are also encouraged to re-apply if they'd like another stint on the staff.

Great Jedi War-y Content

When Bentre's successor is announced, I will hopefully be announcing some of the post-Great Jedi War content that is to come as well, for the Clans, but this may not be the case as there are a lot of moving parts and some decisions that Clans will need to make once I've reached out. If these are not ready by that time, a news post dedicated only to these will be posted to the website. These will include:

• Clan Fleet Upgrades,
• A special planetary asset possession specific to this vendetta
• Clan Credit Grants for the Great Jedi War.

For members, you can expect the Shroud Syndicate Market to open for a limited time starting Monday July 11th, 2022. The store will remain open until one week after the completion of grading and announcement of the results, so that members will have time to spend their new hard-earned credits on some really cool new Chidren of Mortis item additions to the store.
