The dark shuttle flew into the hangar bay and landed with a thud. There were scorch marks and smoke coming out of a hull breach, and lights from insight flickered as the entry ramp lowered. A familiar hooded figure walked off the Panther as crews hurriedly rallied around the craft, saluting the man before starting.

Xolarin strode out of the bay and into the innards of the cruiser, through hallways and lifts to get to his destination. The bridge of the Perdition was busy with several of the heads of the Clan and high ranking officers. Normally they would not be in a place so frontal as the bridge, but this was an important moment.

The Mystic headed towards the group, the last of the summit to join them after the events of the war in Lyra 3k-A. He bowed low for his silent greeting.

“Glad you made it,” came the familiar voice of Tasha. It was not sarcastic or scornful, although it could easily have been taken that way.

“Thank you, Rollmaster.” Xolarin rose up and glanced towards his master Muz, who gave a simple nod.

It was appropriate timing as the Overlord turned from a personal discussion with Ashia and faced the rest of them. “Welcome,” Bentre said in a somber tone. Although anyone with an ounce of perception could sense an undertone of excitement in his voice. After what seemed like several moments, the Overlord continued, a slight curl of his lips appearing on his scarred and serious face. “It is time.”

Ahoyhoy

As you may have seen from my counterpart Xuner, the GJWXIII is over and we are awaiting results and all the shinies and accolades that come with those. There are a few comps open to kill the time and have a bit of fun, but CNS will not rest long. As I alluded to above, we have plans!

So I don’t have much idea what those plans are, other than the fact that we want to go home, take back Orian, and rebuild our structures and bases on the ground. Enough of this flying around space. So rest up, but don’t lose that energy and fervor. The Clan still needs you, House Marka Ragnos still needs you.

So until other exciting things stir and appear, until we get our glorious awards, until our Overlord says “go” again, I’ll just leave this here...

So I’ve never done an “AskMe” thinger, or at least not in a while, so I did one a few days ago. Some of my peeps call me “Professor X” (hey, my char does have a shaved head and has an odd X-name), so we did #profX. :)

Xuner asks: How are you feeling post-war IC?

Hilgrif asks: Favorite war comp and most disliked war comp

My favorite would have been the Offering if my wood carving thinger hadn’t fallen apart. Otherwise I’d say the Battleplan or Team Fiction were my favorites. Had a great time with all of you in these!

Benny asks: What is your favorite pizza topping?

Crumbled sausage is my favorite, although a good meat-lovers or plain cheese are always good.

Benny asks: What are your hopes for the next couple months fictionally?

I am looking forward to getting back to Orian - Xolarin, Xuner, Hilgrif and others have never been there and it would be awesome to help recreate our home there. On a personal note, Xolarin is getting deeper into Artifacts and becoming more sage-like in that area.

Hilgrif asks: How do you think the Clan and yourself did in this war?

I think we did very well - look at the turnout for the Runon, and look at the participation above (which is probably not all-inclusive). I mean, it was awesome. I could have done better myself (missed the Offering and a fiction, for example), but I did pretty well.

_Benny asks: If you had to pick an actor to portray Xolarin in a DB/CNS movie, who would you pick?

Patrick Stewart. Or maybe slightly younger like Mark Strong? They have to look good bald.
