A Look Into The Abyss

The albino sat in a wooden chair behind a small wooden desk. His crimson eyes struggled against the darkness as the sun set on Selen, its last rays pouring through the Rollmaster’s window. The lights in the room were switched off as Sight read the reports that had been pouring in upon the conclusion of the Nicht Ka incident.

The Priest had sent his Fade to bring back dinner as he caught up on the reports of what had been rumored to be the last conflict in the war in which the Brotherhood had become enveloped. His crimson eyes glanced over the involvement of the Journeymen of Clan Arcona on Nicht Ka. Pride filled his chest at the mention of their heroics.

The albino stood slowly and moved to the window. Pressing a pale hand against the glass the Rollmaster stared out across the Citadel's courtyard far below. His mind wandered and pondered over the information from those reports as the sun dipped below the horizon. The last moment of direct light a flash as if struggling to force back the overwhelming tide of darkness which had been settling in the Priest's mind for some time now.

With a great sigh the Krath gave in fully to the darker side of himself, a rage of defiance filling his chest. He could feel another conflict was coming over the horizon, it was an almost palpable sensation. Blood would be spilled and the unprepared would perish like the light from Selen’s sun this evening.

The door whisked open to his office. His Fade had returned.

“I brought the food you wanted Master,” the young woman called to the albino.

“Set it on the desk Lilly,” the Rollmaster paused for a moment “Another war is coming, we must prepare the Journeymen.” A pale finger activated a signaling device in the office’s corner and across Arcona space a call for the Journeymen to return to Selen sounded. They would be ready, they would be deadly.

The Forward

It’s been almost 3 months now since September 9th when I became Rollmaster, a lot has happened. I would like to thank Ernordeth for the new Report banner you see at the top of this report. Ernordeth won the Help an RM out...With some shiny Report Graphics competition I ran a while back.

Fading Light 3

With Fading Light 3 concluded I would like to personally tell each of you Great Job! However that would require lots of effort on my end so I will just put it here Great Job!

Upcoming

We have plenty of things coming up on the radar for this lovely down time between FL3’s end and the start of the next Great Jedi War. For instance the House run-ons we all were working so hard on will be starting back up, so lets write some stories ;). We will also see the return of normal competitions and the ACB.

I will be starting up a series of short and fun competitions for members of Arcona to participate in. While I am tailoring these competitions to be for the Journeymen everyone in the Clan is more than encouraged to participate.

Other than that, keep your eyes peeled for your House and Battleteam reports on what's to come.

A personal note to the Journeymen

Hey guys and gals, I hope you enjoyed reading this report. I wanted to cover a few things with you before I ended it. Firstly if you do not have a Master and want one let me know via e-mail or on IRC and we will work on getting you one. We have plenty of experienced Knights and above already chomping at the bit to have a personal hand in your training and elevation up to Knight.

Secondly keep a look out for a call to help with a special project I am working on, I am not ready to release the details yet but trust me it’s a good one. If everything goes as planed expect me to be looking for volunteers around the end of December to mid January time frame.

Finally and perhaps the most important thing of all. I want to remind you that I am here to help you in anyway I can if you have something you need done or a question that needs answered or even just someone to talk to, please come to me and I will help you out to the extent of my abilities. I am very proud of what you all have been doing and look forward to seeing what you will accomplish in the future.

A kinda postscript here, I meant to post this a few weeks ago but ended up having to have emergency surgery to remove my appendix. Long story short I would like to apologize for not being around much this past week.
