Fictionally speaking, we have a lot going on in the House while we wait to see what the next GJW does to everyone. There have been a few unit wide competitions run, but most efforts have been on the event that runs the entire month of December. There has been a lot of fiction leading up to it which is all on Discourse, and of course now the events themselves.

So that will be almost the entire focus this month, while going over some awards and accomplishments of members, with more awaiting next year after we conclude this ongoing campaign.

Imperial News Net

The Emperor has gone into hiding, with the Scions finally making their move with a coordinated strike. Their agents freely walk the streets and work to establish order and secure the throne for Fias Zhan. Scholae Palatinae members move swiftly to ensure that won’t happen.

Major Events

• Looking Home Campaign Judecca: This is running right now. Do all the things! There has been much build up for this one. You’ve seen three previous events that slowly lead up to it. It will run for the entire month of December, 11 events to help beat the Scions and retake our system.
• Great Jedi War: Still planned for January of next year. This vendetta will provide more DJB wide exposure and novae and promised opportunity for character development. Also expect some much more impactful DJB wide plot movements than before as we slowly steamroll Sith worlds in the past Dark Crusade.
• Multi-Unit Event: Sometime following the vendetta, we are working on something with another unit to give us an opportunity to all work together. You’ve seen a few emails asking for opinions on an enemy and what we’d like to see. Not zombies. Lots to focus on in the meantime but this is already in the early planning phases.

Projects

• Wiki: Following the current event Wrath of Zhan, we will look at expanding out our historical details on the wiki, and reinforcing our push for Imperial doctrine to be followed. Have some characters to develop and some work to be done on this if anyone is interested as always but this will otherwise continue to be worked out so it’s available for everyone.

Closing

There has been a slow week of various competitions filling a gap up to the current December wide event. I expect a mix of busy holiday schedules, finals, family, and hopefully some DJB enjoyment if you get a chance. I’ve had a fun year expanding our plot and learned a lot in my first few months as Aedile and hope to continue into next year to provide opportunities and move things forward for everyone with Xen.

There is a little bit of something for everyone in the recent Wrath of Zhan event. I had limited to know involvement with it so I will be joining everyone on the battle, mainly the run-on.
