Hello Scholae Palatinae! Coming in a bit late this time with the holidays and all, welcome to another fun filled Consul Report. I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday season, enjoyed the new movie, and is ready for an awesome 2016!

Intel: Brotherhood Wide - Holidays and Something About a Movie?

Easily the biggest and most exciting news around the club, has been the release of Episode VII in theaters. I hope most of you have gotten a chance to see it (club wide spoiler ban lifted on the fourth), cause man was it AMAZING.

Of course with the movie comes a whole host of new questions about the new SW canon, but we did learn a lot about it. Even before the movie hit, the DC has been talking about how this new canon would affect us, and this is something covered in part of the Grand Master’s End of Year Report. There will be some IC explanation for forgetting some of our old “legacy” based EU events, as well as a slight timeline shifts so we line up nice and cozy with what the new movie brought us. It will take a bit of patience from everyone to work out things on a personal -> clan -> club wide scale of these changes but in the long run, it is for the best.

Another thing to keep your eye on is the return of the big clan feud events. These are run with DC oversight and really bring the heavy competitive nature seen in the GJW to much more intimate level. You can read some of the notes about it in Mav’s recent DGM Report. Plus bonus photo of the awesome lego Death Star I got for Christmas!

And of course, between the release of the new movie and Christmas day, our insanely overworked and talented Herald Staff provided us with eight days of wonderful eye-candy goodies in the last ever Herald Holiday Special! These were covered over several emails to the clan through the month of December, but I want to once again recognize all of the amazing members who got Equite promotions over the last month.

Archangel Palpatine now stands as a Warlord!

Elincia Rei is our clan’s very first Augur!

Eetherbiail Zarih’Taen is a Battlemaster!

Fenn now rocking the loyalist order is a Commander!

Chrome our resident merc is now a Privateer!

Dek Rott has been elevated to the rank of Mystic!

Ulfsark has also made it to Mystic status!

Delak Krennel is now a proud Warrior!

Jorm Na’trej has advanced to the rank of Warrior!

These are all amazing accomplishments! Congratulations to you all!

Intel: The Imperial News Net - Master of Rolls

As mentioned in my email to the clan back in late December, our wonderful and hardworking Rollmaster, Cruise, has decided it was time to step down so he can focus on RL. Massive thank you to Cruise for his work the the Rollmaster.

We received a couple of great applications for this position, and after some discussion have given it to Elincia Rei. Eli, or Imp to the older folks, is no stranger to leadership or working with members. I know Eli will kill it in this position, and the CSP Train-o-awesome certainly isn’t slowing down.

Intel: The Imperial News Net - Post Monstrosities Round-Up

Since the conclusion of our Monstrosity clan event, there have been several updates on the wikipedia. First and foremost comes the promised naming of each of our four major monsters after the top four winners of the event. Yes these are probably terrible scientific names, get over it if you are involved in the biology field. If you are one of the four winners and have a name you would like better for these, just tell me. I’ll get it changed.

Colossium Archangelium named for first place winner Archangel!

Lexiconia Abyssi named for second place winner Lexiconus!

Elincium Decepticus named for third place winner Elincia Rei!

Huludus Lucyethic named for fourth place winner Lucyeth!

Elincia asks: Would You Rather Fight a Horse-Sized Duck or a Hundred Duck-Sized Horses?

• Hundred Duck-sized Horses. We wouldn’t fight, I would sell them as pets for a ton of money.

Jorm asks: Now that the FWEc-Bomb has been successfully tested, will it become standard-issue field equipment for all types of troops?

• No. They are too big to be carried.

Archangel asks: When do we go nuclear on another clan, and can it be Naga Sadow?

• A full feud will hit sometime this year for us, and CNS is a real possibility for it. So are the other clans. :P

Kyo asks: What program are you making your new sabers on, and when will they be finished?

• I use Adobe Illustrator. Dunno when they will be finished, I like just playing around with them.

Lexiconus asks: What can we expect from the summit within the next 3 months? Has the Monstrosities been updated?

• See above for the Monstrosity updates. Next three months I am hoping to see more development from our two houses, more focused groups on helping people improve (see Eli’s fiction group for example), and a house feud. I can’t promise a clan feud in the next 3 months, but it will definitely be in the works. We will also probably see the prologue to ur next campaign. There is also obviously going to be club wide changes as we continue to adapt to the new canon.

Lucyeth asks: what are the plans for,the new year. What can members of the clan expect moving forward with a new movie hyped up and video games with more rolling out?

• There will be adjustments as we move into the new canon. You all can expect a house feud, a new clan campaign, and hopefully a clan feud at minimum. Lots of exciting things going on and coming at us so expect to continue to keep kicking ass.

Rosh asks: Clan feud on the horizon? Will we have updated DB lore to work with? How much did you drink past New Year's? Will Eli teach Advanced Calculus together with the Fiction Workshop?

• Horizon, I hope so. Yes we will but I don't know how that will look. I drank a fair bit, not a ton, had to sober up so I could drive home. Don't drink and drive it isn't cool. And that is up to Eli. I'm hoping no.

Alara asks: Boxers or Briefs?

• Boxers.

Reiden asks: Will Eether ever have enough hate to attempt to take over your throne for himself?

• If you take the throne with hate, the throne will hate you back. Only love here as a leader.

Delak asks: do you have a full body avatar somewhere for your character?

• No I do not, but I was on Orv's commission list before his life got busy to get one, and I plan on getting a portrait (waist up) from Xelandra (on Deviantart) once she opens them back up.

Rosh asks: Can you go to my interview tomorrow?

• I pass on that. :P

Lexiconus asks: I love you Xen, can I murder Eether yet? :P

• Murder is bad mmmmmkay?

Eetherbiail asks: what do you think you're most excited about coming to the db and/or the clan this coming year?

• I’m very excited for the next big storyline I have in the works for the clan.

Rosh asks: If I murder Lex can I take control of Imperium and unify both houses under my supreme control?

• Last I checked you aren’t playing a Gungan in witness protection.

• No. No no no. No.
