Hello and Welcome to a Mid-April Consul Report! Many grand and marvelous things going on in the Empire to be excited about. Here is the breakdown of what’s going on, and what’s on the table for the near future.

Intel: The Imperial News Net - The Force Awakens

With the SW Celebration weekend kicking off in Anaheim, we got a second teaser trailer. Holy crap does it look awesome. Spent several minutes sobbing like a proper manchild over this beauty. Because I’m a super nerd, I put together a shot by shot analysis of the teaser. December isn’t going to get here soon enough.

Intel: The Imperial News Net - The Forgotten

The first act of our Forgotten Storyline is in the middle of its action. In the prologue saw us recieve dire news from Cocytus Historical Society’s head, Polis Jones, as well as glimpses to the awakening of the Old Gods.

Act 1 sees you the members venturing forth to gather intel with the goal of stopping Evanescent and the Pacre Datship from awakening the Old Gods. Yes thats right, the surviving members of the Pacre Datship (Last seen in the Looking Home Campaign) are all part of this issue. The Glyph Priests who were not captured at that time are back to hound us. We told you it would continue to have impact. Here it is! :D

This also of course means there is a whole listing of fun and exciting competitions to participate in! The entire act, also has its own crescents up for grabs so do as much as you can!

Entanglement - Parent Competition and Scoring breakdown.

Clan Scholae Palatinae Research: Is the second half trivia event (first one just ended). This one specifically has to do with our Clan’s history here in the Cocytus System.

Gathering Forces: Is our quick and fun flash game for Act 1. Submit screenshots of your highscore.

Paid in Blood: Is a Tier 1 PVP Gaming competition. Play against ANY member of the club and submit the scores under this competition to earn credit. Beware of Dante, he is a skilled old man deadly in the ways of JA.

Cocytus Historical Society Logo: Is a graphics competition. The winning submission may be used as the official logo of this society (it and Polis Jones will certainly be making appearances through the rest of the Forgotten storyline).

Glory to the Old Gods: Is a poetry event. In the Cocytus system’s history there have been many different societies and many different Gods worshipped. One of these ways was in the form of written word. This poem is to be one from these societies that glorifies the Old Gods.

Imperium Heads to Ptolomea: This is the House Imperium fiction prompt. Yourself, and a handful of military forces have been sent to Ptolomea to stop the Evanescent forces from completing their work.

Excidium Heads to Judecca: Is the House Excidium fiction prompt, where you and a different set of military forces have been sent to stop the Evanescent forces on Judecca.

Both fictions are 1,000 word minimum. Please remember to only submit to your House’s fiction prompt.

Unless otherwise noted, these competitions will be ending on April 28th.

There will be a bit of break before Act 2 starts up (and it is going to be epic). During this “break” you will be seeing a unrelated storyline with us and Clan Naga Sadow. I know Evant, Locke, Ceth, and myself are all really excited about getting a more focused inter-unit event going so hopefully you all will enjoy it as well. It should be a lot of good fun.

Intel: The Imperial News Net - Life Cubed

You may have noticed some periodic emails from people in the clan regarding Minecraft. Delak’s generous actions of getting a server for us has led to many an hour spent gathering resources and building some pretty cool stuff. Here are some of the things that have been going on.

Starting with my own biased personal favorite, this is the current progress on Fort Kickass. Taking inspiration from the Imperial Palace in Ohmen, Evant and I continue to plan out the 4 mighty wings of the giant Fort. It is super awesome, doubly so cause its what I’ve been working on. :D

This is up inside the fort and is what will be the entrance to the throne room. Every good Empire has to have a throne room.

Delak is responsible for this flying Star Destroyer on the Server. Many a stone was killed to build this.

This is Reiden’s lovely new house on the server, and behind it is the work in progress giant tower by Drun Syg (Sim).

Here you can see another shot of the Star Destroyer, the castle and temple, also built by Delak. Off to the side is the R.A.H. Pub, created by Drun.

There is a bunch of other really awesome stuff happening on the server, so talk to Delak if you want to get on and join the rest of us.

Finally I want to give a shoutout to our newest Dark Jedi Knight Chrome! You can expect to see his knighting fiction in the near future, but until then, drinks are on him! Congratulations on this huge milestone.
