Hello Scholae Palatinae, Know this is coming a bit later (It's June, how did that happen?) than normal but here it is, another Quaestor report. We obviously had some big house news recently so let's get into it.

Intel: Brotherhood Wide

The ACC Fading Light tournament is well underway. At the monument there are still three of us HSPers in the tournament. You can check out our active battles below.

And don't forget, just because the tournament is on, you can still qualify for the ACC and participate in regular battles. ACC is a lot of fun to participate in regularly (and a good way to get Clusters of Ice) and you can be sure that the ACC will continue to appear with both other tournaments and in vendettas. I'm always down for getting my ass handed to me in the ACC so don't feel like there aren't people you can challenge in it.

Beyond the current Fading Light ACC stuff, there will be a third round of the Fading Light, featuring the traditional Fiction, Gaming, Graphics. It will be on the planet of Nicht Ka. Then late Summer/Fall there will be the next Great Jedi War. For the newer members, GJWs are big DJB-wide event with a huge storyline (in this case will be the full conclusion to our battle against the One Sith with the Dark Crusade) and epic competitions that all the units participate in. Raken has said he wants to make it lighter and fun. It is currently looking like 3 weeks of hashing it out. So get gearing up to kick ass in that. After that comes a “vendetta hiatus” where we will get some time to continue to focus on our own storyline development.

Raken has also asked for a volunteer to help him on some wiki work, so if you are interested in that please email him.

Riverche our T:Forum has announced the switch from our old forum system to Discourse. The old topics are also planned to be migrated and the new system is in place. Check it out here. I think it is a pretty cool new system and one that will be more easily kept up to date going forward.

Solari (who moved on to be the new T:Recruitment) has also asked for people to apply to join the Recruitment team. A lot of it involves making sure there is new SW info on the main page and helping with the social media efforts of the club. Please send him an email if you are interested!

Intel: The Imperial News Net - Our Awesome Members

First off I want to welcome all of our new members: Mereel Kestor, Yaaarvak, Soren Krieg, Bes'vik, Rissa Halo, Zarak Cear'bhaill, and Nestor Drake (who has already made it to Guardian!). Also want to welcome recent transfers: Kazuki, and Kor Vaal, along with the return of Wattrik Cronis from the rogues.

We did have an AWOL check recently, where we did lose some members, but with this influx new members we have gained some more new blood for the house.

I want to congratulate Yaaarvak for passing several SA exams. Kor Vaal, for passing exams and starting a new competitions. Nestor Drake for making it all the way to GRD already. Brandon Tarsus for continuing to work hard on the last of his trials for DJK.

Finally once again I want to congratulate Black Eagle for getting to DJK!

Intel: The Imperial News Net - Aedile Applications

As mentioned in a earlier email to the House (and news post on the site), our super awesome Aedile Xantros has decided to step down due to RL time constraints. This of course means that I am now accepting applications to fill the AED position.

Xantos has been rocking the AED position since early January last year. But don't feel daunted by that. The AED and RM positions work along with myself in a close net team. If you've never worked with me in a leadership function before, I promise I'm not scary. And I won't steal your kidneys. I promise.

Anyway, applications close on the Wednesday the 18th at Midnight EST. I look forward to sorting through the applications I receive and finding us a new kick-ass Aedile.

Favorite Things: Describe your character's favorite item, how you got it, and what it means to you.

Down with the Summit!: A fiction where you are tasked with killing us members of the HSP Summit.

Gear Up: This is a create your equipment load for assassination missions.

Dealing with a Pest: This is a more focused assassination fiction with a specific target and method of assassination (poison).

Other competitions can be found on the competition page of the DJB site. Other members in different units often have DJB wide competitions going so please check it out!
