And its sweet, sweet, sweet victory...yeah!
There it is everyone! An absolutely crushing victory for Arcona in the Fourteenth Great Jedi War! Although all of these words have been said already, I feel no shame in saying them again I’m incredibly proud of all of you. Our combined efforts yielded dividends, and congratulations are in order for many of us, later in the report.
Moving on. There’s multiple fictional developments going on within our own House and Battleteam, things that I’m extremely excited to reveal. More than that, we’ve got a clan event coming soon! Looks very much like we’ll be headed out to a beach resort, searching for some lost artifacts…
Tomb Raider, anyone? I’ll grab the bow. And the bootyshorts.
House Fiction is….coming soon, this weekend. Very, very soon. Thank you for your patience!
Last report, we had a little house survey dedicated to House possessions/development moving forward, along with a few questions about the battle team. Thank you to everyone who took the time to answer it!
Battleteam-wise, it was decided based on the survey to maintain the focus that we have been recently; no dedicated vessel, keeping the Nighthawk as is; Spectre Cell will continue to be officially “based” at Fort Blind Shot, which will be the target of ongoing development competitions eventually™; and we can look forward to some BT exclusive comps, also eventually™! I’m incredibly excited.
Lots of news this month. Alright, here goes!
Lots and lots to congratulate people on this month. Buuuut, first, the Spectre Dagger! To remind everyone, the Spectre Dagger is a monthly reward given to a standout member of the battleteam. Whether for activity, creativity, or contributions to the club, this neat little blade is a mark of pride for all to see… though considering the amount of shinies she’s received in the past month, it’ll be a miracle if she doesn’t lose it.
To Atty! 6th place in GJW XIV! As always, you deserve this <3
Now deep breath here’s all of the Battleteam’s shinies and contributions. Hold onto your pants, folks.
All of the thanks and congratulations to everyone who fought and placed in the war. I’ve seen some amazing, incredibly impressive work from y’all. I look forward to seeing more in the future, as always.
Qyreia (WAR HERO!) asks:
Oh, certainly. Sera’s kinda got a fan-girl thing going on with Atyriu; she represents everything that Sera believes the Force to be after all. Now, of course, there was that one instance with the jello bowl and the TK punting, but, we can all forget that, right? Let’s just do that.
Xenna asks:
¿Por que no los dos? Optimal strategy is to throw a knife first, stick it in, then run up and kick it real hard to drive it in deeper. Efficiency!
Please give Karran’s arm back. Please.
Atty Asks:
In their three or four meetings, Atty has healed an entire city’s worth of wounded, accurately depicted the thoughts and emotions of the dead, read Sera’s mind like it was nothing, and burst into an emotional crying fit because Sera Force-punted her jello-BBQ away. In simple terms, she’s an enormous fan, seeing her as an inspiration for the very best that she herself could be. If there’s anyone in the world that she could demonstrate some level of tact to, it’s her.
Aay Asks:
Training. Train train train. Run laps in the morning, lift weights in the afternoon, and roll sparrs all evening. Gymnastics, survival training, tribal dance lessons, hunting, an intensive course in K’Thri, obstacle gyms, Force intensives, the works. Sera’ll bring Strong and Ruka in to help. Pregger-Atty, too. Get Aay tired. Make sure she’s all tuckered out. Roll her up in an Aay burrito. Bury in blankets. Rinse and repeat.
...wha?
Once Aay is of the proper drinking age, sure. What’s a skeever?
Strong Asks:
She’s been incredibly busy since the war, managing Spectre Cell, trying to help rebuild Keadean society on Eldar, and tending to Karran, helping get him back on his feet. But, we do have a beach-resort trip coming up for the clan, yeah? Get some time at a beach-side cabana, go swimming a little bit, fight a few rounds in the sand? Many, many options.
Oh, you know she is SO down. Maybe, get everyone down in a Keadean jungle for a few days, bring up prospective recruits for the Eldar Rangers. Hot, humid, sweaty…
This Kicky Captain prefers the Desert Bloom , an ancient, traditional Zabraki drink. Of course, she can’t prepare it to save her life, but if the bartender knows?
Alaisy Asks:
A handmade bow and arrow, a fibercord whip, several knives, and a very, very tasteful outfit.
Adjusts nerd glasses. Well, acktchually, becauth the lightsthaber heel ithn’t acktchually a tholid material, it would jutht burn right cool thingth! You’d conthtantly be melting the floor underneath your heelth. Not a great time!
Takes glasses off. Okay, buzzkill over. That sounds badass.
Rubs hands I’ve been brewing it up for a little bit, trying to find something that’s not just a blatant copy of your alchemical suit. I’ve been thinking of something that’s stamina based, using purely organic, hand-woven materials granted supranatural breathability/lightness by the process, with the offsetting cost of… I don’t know. Still brewing. But, I definitely wanna do it. I’m sure she’d ask Alaisy for help… and get rejected, since she’s looking for Light Side alchemy :p.
Zabraki legends tell that each hunter and huntress has two hearts for a reason. One, of course, is made to be kept, to preserve life and vigor. The second is meant to be given away. It is representative of a Zabrak’s loyalty to their family, their tribe, to those that they love. In a tribal marriage ceremony, the partners are referred to as Korkiva, heartbound, as they have given their gift hearts to one another. Naturally, this is the heart -the leftmost one, biologically is the one that she favors. She’s got so much love to give, after all. <3
Grunts.
Liver. Especially… salarian liver. Best served… raw.
And that’s it for #AskTheKickyCaptain! Remember, get your questions in next month, and I’ll answer them all in my report!
