Greetings!

To the newly formed Selen Training Corp, and anyone peering in! This is my new report as your Battleteam leader, and the first one of the team ever. So fresh. Smells good.

For those who don’t know, I’m known as Jen or as Zuza in likeness of my primary character Zuza Lottson. You will also see me with my characters Nathan Breeze and Cole Farrow, although those two shall remain in their place on the Voidbreaker II. Zuza will be leading the fold, smol and mighty!

As a person, I’ve been in the club for 3 years now. I took the position of Rollmaster about this time last year. While I’m sad to see the position go, I’m grateful to the rest of the Summit for allowing me to continue being there to those making their beginnings in the club. Aside from that, earlier this year I became a Magistrate to the Headmaster of the Aurora Collegium, and have been helping in the mass updating of our Essentials courses.

As a real life person, I’m a British variety of Human, as well as a university graduate making a start for my career and personal life. This means a lot of job hunting and a lot of paperwork, in short. I play video games, stuff like Dungeons and Dragons and nerd out in various online groups. I also go outside. Sometimes.

I love animals, especially snow leopards, the colour blue and getting out into nature for walks.

What about you?

My plans as Battleteam Leader of the STC is to help those in the beginnings of joining the club find their place. I had a lot of helping hands when I joined, but it was still quite a process where more often than not I was afraid to press buttons, couldn’t work out the administration page for months and didn’t submit gaming scores for over a year because of how daunting it seemed.

It wasn’t actually that bad, but even with those at my side I was that overwhelmed. Which is why I want to ensure every person joining the club has a helping hand.

My primary goals for people going through the STC are:

• Building friendships with others in the clan and beyond.
• Encouraging AND engaging in activity.
• Establishing confidence within new joins.

Anybody joining Arcona will pass through the STC, meet the other new kids and have a chance to experience the clan as a whole while still having specified help at their side. Once a member of the STC reaches Journeyman 4 rank, they will not only receive their Knighting fiction and the shinies that come with the rank, but you will also get the choice between joining House Galeres and House Qel-Droma.

Hopefully having this additional stage of the clan structure will help retain you awesome people who may struggle to find their spot otherwise.

NEW NEWS

I don’t have much to bring to the table on this first take, but I will be celebrating any new people in the team, or any progression people make. Even if it seems small, it's worthy of recognition so here it will be.

This will include first competitions created or placed in, awards or promotions or any particularly notable activity like finishing your wiki page! All of this is stuff I am happy to help in, at a Discord message or email.

We are still in the midst of the ARC COU Clans event! There’s not long left on it but there’s lots of zany fun to be had, and the roleplay is still ongoing if you want a shot to get your character in on the fun. After all…

We will also be seeing the start of competition workshops over the next few months, which are aimed to help people feel more confident in participating in a wider variety of competitions. The November clan update has more on this here.

Where is the space Mole in the Hole? Do you have your Corpse's pet? What will be your first order? Do you have goosebumps?

1.Probably Ol'Val, there are many space holes for space moles. 2. My.. corpse's, pet? Uhm. If I die soon I guess Frond would be so, yes? 3. To clear out an area in Estle on Selen for the STC to operate within and house our recruits. While we will take missions off world to visit the other houses and help the clan with offworld stuff, our base of operations will be there. 4. They're multiplying~

Will you have High Paw to all of your team members? Any plans for friendly rivalry with other groups? Do you have your party deck prepared? Why Mole Asks other Mole about the hole ( especially without gravity at the moon ).

As I said earlier, Snow Leopard. I love leopards overall, they tend to be pretty secretive but also very impressive in what we do see them get up to. And Snow Leopards are just all of that awesomeness put into a goofy little floofball that can't even roar properly and is more closely related to tigers than other leopards. Too cool.
