In Today’s News…

Have all the Jedi gone mad? That is the question everyone is asking here in Menat Ombo. Since early this morning, reports have surfaced about a possible “Affliction” affecting the Jedi, causing them to behave much like their dark side counterparts and turn on each other. These reports allegedly coming in from Arbra, a planet located in the Bon'nyuw-Luq Sector. When asked what they knew of what happened, one citizen commented, “I heard that the cute one went crazy with the rest of them.” We will report more on this story as information comes in.

It is still unclear whether the reports are true or just rumors, but the news has shaken this community and many others here on New Tython. Many citizens fear repercussions from the infamous militant group “Dagger of Kaifu” after the arrest of their leader Som’bra. Som’bra was taken into custody last month for his possible ties to a wide spread black market arms operation and for his possible role in the Olympic Stadium bombing. He was released due to lack of evidence linking him to either case.

In a related story, Strike-Team Ooroo is looking for more Jedi to come out of the woodwork and join them. Authorities report that their numbers are low need new talent within their ranks.

• Week Two of Affliction has started! It will end on the 28th so get those submissions in to see who is really the more powerful, the Light or the Dark. Its the Dark. We all know it.

• Calling all Journeymen! We have a list. On this list is stuff. This stuff is some things that can earn you a Dark Cross . A Dark Cross is awarded to those who lend their skills in graphics, writing or both (Wiki) to your House and is MANDATORY to progress up the ladder. Many of you have already contributed so much but we still have much to work on. Any Journeyman, especially our many newer members, get in touch with Rollmaster Rhiann for more information on what you can do to not only help the House but help yourselves as well.
