Well, it’s that time again! Thought for once I’d let you all know what I’ve been doing up till now. Went back to visit England for a week as a friend was getting married. It was great, she and her husband are very happy together. However, the wedding was also the breeding ground of a rather tricky virus that knocked me sideways. Still hacking but feeling better now after some life affirming comedy.

I’ve also been undergoing some heavy character changes. You may have already noticed that my name has changed from Mks Ehn to Myrji Ka Sol Erinos. I know, a lot right? Once I get the wiki updated it shall all make sense. For now, know that Mks actually stands for Myrji Ka Sol, his real name. He had to hide it to outrun the crafty Sene Seekers of Alpheridies. spoken quickly All will be explained.

The beginning of the month saw Captain Arcona: Civil War play out extraordinarily well. There were a huge number of submissions displaying the many talented members of our Clan that I am sure we can all be proud of. I enjoyed everything I could manage to participate in. It was a lighthearted way to have fun and I hope you all enjoyed it too. So thanks to Braecen, Uji, Kordath, Rayze and Ernordeth!

We’ve got quite a lot for you this month and the near future- competitions will start coming out of our eyeballs as we throw them at you so get ready to put it into the next gear!

Call To Arms

The Triplets detect a threat across their multi-feeds, with dark and grave consequences on the horizon. Port Ol’val seemed marked for destruction- old enemies assembling together with the new, a dark figure with eyes hungry for the Port and those that control it. There is little time to prepare the hastily formed team, for after but a month of training they were called to act. A suspected whistleblower is thought to be releasing information to the scattered members of the former crime Triumvirate of Port Ol’val. The objective is simple: Find access into the heavily guarded location, secure the information leak and begin witness management. But not all is at it seems and very quickly is the team tested of its true abilities.

Yes, we’ve teased you with this particular teaser in the last report, but this time we ain’t teasin’ ya’ll. It’s on!

Competitions! I’m going to say that word again just to show you how many there are for you to do. Competitions.

If you’ve been reading the House Reports, you’ll know that there is a new brainchild of Ujis, Fall of Perdition! We haven’t been afforded a break after the destruction of the S.C.E.P.T.E.R forces and now it’s time to clean up!

After returning from the events of the Great Jedi War, Arcona’s fleet lay in shambles with many vessels disabled or in need of significant repair. The Clan returned to Dajorra space, intending to celebrate their victory and recover from their many wounds. Unfortunately, the remnants of the One Sith returned under a new title. The fleet of the organization now known as Perdition lashed out against S.C.E.P.T.E.R. assets throughout the Dajorra System. The Dajorra Defense Force engaged Perdition forces, the two fleets clashing throughout the system in a series of small skirmishes. The resulting engagements drove Perdition forces into hiding, many of them fleeing into the system’s asteroid belt after the destruction of their last Imperial Star Destroyer left them at a significant disadvantage against Arcona’s Forces. In the months that followed, Perdition took advantage of Arcona’s increased need for asteroid-mined ore. The small, maneuverable fleet struck a number of installations along the field's borders, until they finally drew the Nighthawk and its crew into a confrontation. Only the intervention of the Proconsul - commanding the NSDInvicta - kept the Nighthawk and its crew from being lost. Unfortunately, Kordath Bleu d’Tana, the Rollmaster and former Captain of the Nighthawk, was captured during the engagement. Where we are now

The event has 5 competitions to participate in, I’d like you all to have a look. Specifically, I want us to look at the Fiction comp: [Fall of Perdition] Red Right Hand. I want to see your character aid the amassed forces and make a name for themselves!

We also have a new competition that may become a regular thing. I give you the February Battleteam Fiction! Now this is a good one I want you to find time to do. It allows you full creative license of the Battleteam and its many associations and resources to create a story for your character! Maybe you have an idea for an Infiltration mission that requires you to go under cover, perhaps we’re being blackmailed by group of smugglers and you need to smash some heads together with your team, or maybe you just want to take the Broken Blade for a joy ride and blow stuff up! The world is your oyster here and it’s perfect for character development.

And finally, another gem of a competition with the BTL and BTS of Soulfire, Celahir Erinos Arconae and Sashar Erinos Arconae. A fantastic opportunity to write with those that you wouldn’t normally get to, Competition: It Takes Two: Preparation pairs you up with an EQ1 and above if you are a journeyman, or vice versa. It’s set up into two parts; the first begins with the paired members training one another and the other has them participating in a Tournament! This is a perfect opportunity to brush up on your combat writing skills, have some fun and make a new friend!

The first incarnation of the wiki is upon us! After a few weeks of great effort from most of the team, we finally have a wiki page to start from. However, our work is not done! We need to expand our scope as much as possible. Is there a tool you think we could use? A concealable weapon useful for stealth? Or maybe you have some conspiracy theories about Styxs creation? We want to hear about them and we definitely want it all on the wiki.

This month we have a shiny new member! Everyone welcome Wuntila Arconae! Known as the Dragon of Selen and a former Consul, Wun has left the dark, lonely dredges of real life to come play happy fun times with us! Snaps for him!

Leaving us, sadly, are Nashiro Kakos, Vixur Ren and Jax Ren. We pined for you and now we shall grieve for you. And if you decide to come back, we’ll keep your rooms the same for you.

Recently, a policy has been put in place regarding Battleteam positions. Should a member remain inactive for a month and are unreachable by either Zakath, myself or a member of the Summit, they will forfeit their position. It seems harsh but it’s necessary to keep the BT full of active members that wish to participate.
