Welcome to the April report for Tacitus Athanasius! Let’s get down to business!

News

The previous Feud between Imperium and Excidium sadly ended with a loss for our parent House. However, with every battle comes experience, so we all know what to do next time.

As many of you know, changes and additions are coming to Scholae's History. Though that won't really affect us since we're relatively new, it's exciting to see how the new history could bring us opportunity.

Recognition:

Before anything, I want to wish Zehsaa a huge congratulations for her promotion to Knighthood! She has truly been an amazing asset to the Clan in general, and many of us are quite proud of her accomplishments and the awesomeness she brings to Scholae. However, I cannot end there. Zehsaa’s entry for the logo was the winning submission. Now, I present to you the official logo of Tacitus Athanasius!

Now on to the other recognitions!

• Alara Deathbane-Placed 1st in Subterfuge: Smack Talk, placed 2nd in The Awakening, and elevated to Inquisitor Rank IV,
• Zehsaa Hysh-Placed 1st in Subterfuge: Foul Cur, placed 2nd in [DB Art Club] Sketch Something! #5, and elevated to Shadow Academy III

Announcements/Reminders

So, I know I’ve been quiet since the last report, but I’ve been mulling some ideas around and trying to figure out how to make TA shine as well as develop. I do have some comps That I plan to have out hopefully by next week. Some will be of a more fun nature, while others will contribute to Battle Team history. I will send out an email notifying everyone.

For now, “Take Your Pick” is still running. So far, I’ve only received one entry per each of the three fiction comps. The whole comp lasts until the 30th, so there’s still time to get in some entries and win some shinies!

Also, there are plenty of competitions out there thanks to our fellow Scholae Members! Give em’ a go!

Other than that, I’m going to work on getting a banner made as well as continue further work on the wiki. Remember, the winning entries for “Take Your Pick” will make it unto the wiki. Good way to contribute to our battle team’s history for those in the future.

Conclusion

I’m really hoping to see the Battle Team come to life with more activity and development over the next few months. You guys are what keep me thinking about how to make Tacitus Athanasius as great as can be. Alara and I are always up for suggestions and answering questions, so feel free to contact us anytime.
